教师启发学生说说周末计划，学生们畅所欲言，谈论自己的周末计划。

教师可以提供一些动词，激发学生的思维：

T: What’s the weather like?

Ss: It’s sunny.

T: It’s a nice day. It will be sunny on the weekend.

C Let’s Practise

1．教师进一步启发学生，除了周末计划，我们还有很多其他的计划，如儿童节计划、暑假计划、学习计划等。提示学生回忆去年的儿童节都许下了什么愿望。

2．学生分组讨论去年的儿童节，并用英语写出本组成员的意愿，完成C部分表格。

D Let’s Read

1．教师创设今年六一儿童节即将到来的情境，学校将举行一场音乐会。

T: Children’s Day is coming. There will be a school concert after the exam. (板书school concert和exam，带读。)

What are you going to do?

学生一起讨论校园音乐节上自己准备干什么。

S1: I am going to sing a song.

S2: I will dance with my classmates.

S3: I will play the piano.

T: What will you wear at the school concert?

S1: I will wear a beautiful dress.

2．听录音，圈出图片上四位人物正要做的事情，此环节是为了验证预设，整体理解故事大意。

3．模仿朗读，熟悉语言，为表演做准备。

4．小组合作表演故事。

学生可以创造性地运用所学语言表述自己对故事的理解，不用拘泥于课文中的语言来表演故事。

Step 3 Consolidation & Extension

活动：画一画，说一说。教师让学生在规定的时间内画几幅连环画，展示自己想象中的学校音乐会，并试着用“…be good at…” “…want to…” “…will/be going to…”等结构来简要描述图画内容。完成后，先在小组内进行评比，看谁的内容充实，语言表述流利。最后，选派代表上台展示，表现优秀者，教师给予奖励。

Step 4 Summing up & Homework

1．小结：师生共同总结本节课的主要内容。

2．作业：①抄写B部分词组，听读D部分；②调查家人周末的计划，并制作表格。

本课时C部分以小组活动的方式操练句型“—What did he/she want to do? —He/She wanted to…”。D部分通过插图再现短文内容，同学们注意力比较集中，对音乐会也很感兴趣，由于本课的生词量不多，所以学生基本能通读全文，但是对于阅读技巧这一块教师还需反复强调。
