一、导入

Have a review about the last lesson.

二、目标

1. 读、译、背Grammar Focus句子;
2. 完成3a, 3b, 3c中的练习题；
3. 通过语言活动体会和总结出always, usually, often, sometimes, hardly ever, never等频度副词的用法，并能够用其描述和交流从事某些活动的频率.   

三、先学

1. ① Students read these sentences and try to translate;

② Ask some students to read and translate;

③ The teacher checks the result.

2. Give students 5 minutes to remember these sentences, then ask some students to say them out with the help of Chinese meaning.

3. ① Students complete activity 3a and 3b.

  ② The teacher checks the answer with the students.

四、后教

1. Explain the important and difficult points to the class.
2. Language points

(1)  I go to the movies maybe once a month.

maybe /'meɪbi/ adv. 大概；或许；可能

e.g. Maybe I am going to the movies with my parents this weekend. 可能这个周末我将会和父母去看电影。

e.g. Maybe your schoolbag is in your bedroom.

= Your schoolbag may be in your bedroom.

你的书包可能在你的卧室里。

【这对训练】

Maybe I will be a football player in the future. (变成同义句)

I may be a football player in the future.

(2)  How often do they stay up late?

stay up 熬夜

e.g. It’s bad for your health to stay up late. 熬夜对你的健康有害。

stay up 可与late、all night 或 the whole night等词或短语连用。

stay up doing sth. 熬夜做某事

stay up late to do sth. 为了做某事而熬夜

【针对训练】我爸爸是个足球迷，昨天他熬夜观看国际足联世界杯。

My father is a football fan, and he stayed up late to watch FIFA World Cup yesterday.

(3)  He plays at least twice a week.

least /liːst/ adv. 最少；最小 adj. & pron. 最小的；最少的

e.g. Teenagers need to sleep at least 8 hours every day.

青少年每天至少需要睡8 个小时。

at least意为“至少；不少于；起码”，反义短语为at most“至多”。

2. Students read Grammar Focus and conversation 3a aloud.
