    Unit 6  Do you like bananas?Period Four 2a-2cI. Textbook AnalysisThe topic of this unit is talking about food, likes and dislikes. From period 1-3, students have already got to know some food words, they can talk about what they like and dont like. In this period, students need to learn how to talk about ones eating habits, distinguish healthy diet and unhealthy diet, and then choose healthy food to have a balanced diet in daily life. II. Students AnalysisIn primary school, students have already known some food words. In this unit, they learned more food words and how to talk about what they like and dont like. The topic of food is close to their daily life, they are familiar with it. So students can read and understand the article about eating habits easily. But they need to know more about the food in different culture, and healthy diet, it is a little bit difficult for them. III. Teaching aimsThrough the reading activities, the students will be able to1) locate food words (key information) quickly from the reading context;2) process the information by telling ones likes and dislikes;3) write about ones likes and dislikes;4) use healthy food to make up a healthy diet with the help of food pyramid. IV.
