Unit 4  Where’s my schoolbag?【Teaching aims】1．掌握有关物品的名称table, bed, bookcase, sofa, chair, book, keys, bag, alarm clock, CD, tape, hat, etc.2．学会谈论物品的位置。【Language points】要求掌握以下句式： Where’s my schoolbag?    Where are my schoolbags?  It’s under the table.        They’re on the table.2．要求掌握以下词汇： where, table, bed, chair, under, they, on, hat, baseball 【Difficulties】： 熟练运用表示方位的介词in, on, under 等。【T e aching steps】Step 1: warming –upEnjoy a video about talking some school things. Teach students to learn the new words. And Then have the student to match the things with pictures to check if he or she remembers all the words.【教学设计说明】通过一则短小的视频，让学生在轻松愉悦的氛围中进入到学习状态之中，同时复习了前一个单元中所学习过的句型结构，同时也让学生逐步关注本节课要涉及到的新单词，这样能够激发学生学习的兴趣。Step 2: Section A  1a 1、Introduce a new friend —A little mouse “Tom” to the student.2、Let the student look for the mouse and ask “where’s Tom?” let the student look at the picture and try to answer “It’s under/on/ in the box.”3、tell students the meanings of “in, on, under”.【教学设计说明】通过设置让学生结识新朋友Tom，一只可爱的小老鼠，同时找到他在哪里，能够立刻调动学生的参与性，激发学生思维，启动学生学习兴趣的发生。Step 3: Try to say.Let the student try to answer the questions according to the pictures. 【教学设计说明】让学生根据刚才所学内容尝试着去自己独立回答，能使他们产生学习的自信心。Step 4: pay attention to the difference.1、   Show a book and a bookcase. 2、   Ask and answer where the book is.3、   Show some books and the bookcase. Lead student to ask and answer where the books are .4、   Show another slide. And let students try to ask and answer. Let the student pay attention to the difference to the single noun and plural nouns.【教学设计说明】    在教师的引导下，让学生自主学习，探究新知，从而产生学习的满足感。Step 5: Practice1、Play a guessing game. Let students use “where’s …, Where are” to ask and use “It’s/ They are on / in/ under…” to answer.2、Write his / her own sentences according to the picture.3、Fill in the blanks according to the picture.4、Find the differences between the two pictures and make a small report.【教学设计说明】运用多种练习方式让学生学习并巩固新知，使本课的主要语言知识得到重现，加深印象。Step 6: Consolidation and testThe teacher tell the important points : the differences between “where’s…”and “where are”,  and then have a small test to examine if he/ she master the knowledge.【教学设计说明】让学生根据教师所总结的内容对比自己掌握的知识，发现不足的同时感受到成功的喜悦。
