教学过程:
一、对比动词的形式,比较一般现在时和一般过去时
eg: I am a student.
I was a student.
在英语句子中,可以从动词的形式知道时间发生的时间。
二、一般过去时的概念:
① 表示过去某时间发生的动作或存在的状态。
eg: I got up at 7 yesterday morning. (表示过去的动作)
② 表示过去的习惯或经常发生的动作。
eg: When I was a child, I often listened to the radio.
基本结构: 主语 + be动词的过去式 + 其他
主语 +实意动词的过去式 + 其他
三、一般过去时句式的变化
1、含有be动词的过去式
be动词的现在式:am ,is ,are
be 动词的过去式:was ,were
eg:I am full. I was hungry an hour ago.
You are happy now. You were sad yesterday.
Helen is a teacher. Helen was a student last year.
否定句:
主语 + was/were +not +其他,was not =wasn't, were not=weren't
eg: : I was at home yesterday morning.
I was not = wasn't at home yesterday morning.
My parents were busy last weekend.
My parents were not = weren't busy last weekend.
一般疑问句:
把was, were提到句首,句末用问号即可变为一般疑问句。即:Was(Were)+主语+表语+其他?
eg: Lisa was at school the day before yesterday.
Was Lisa at school the day before yesterday?
肯定回答:Yes, 主语+was /were.
否定回答:No , 主语+wasn’t /weren’t.
2、包含实意动词的过去式
肯定句:主语+实意动词的过去式+其他
否定句:主语+ did not =didn’t +动词原形+其他
eg: He played football last week.
He did not play football last week.
She watched TV last night.
She didn't watch TV last night.
一般疑问句:
Did + 主语 + 动词原形 + 其他?
eg: Carol went boating last Saturday.
Did Carol go boating last Saturday?
肯定回答:Yes, 主语+did.
否定回答:No , 主语+didn't.
四、实意动词的过去式变化
Regular Verb Forms
1. 一般情况下在动动词原形后加 ed. 如: work, jump, look, …
2. 以e 结尾的动词, 直接加-d. 如: live
3. 以辅音字母加y 结尾的动词, 先将y 变 i 再加-ed. 如: carry, study, try…
4. 以重读闭音节结尾且末尾只有一个辅音字母的, 双写此辅音字母后再加-ed. 如: stop, plan,…

五、《一般过去时》教学反思
本节课的重点内容是介绍一般过去时,动词的过去式规则变化与不规则变化的讲解与练习,及如何判断一般过去时,虽然较为枯燥,但大部分学生能通过反复的练习较好的掌握。
我由对比一般现在时和一般过去时进行导入,列出一般过去时肯定句的句型是主语+动词的过去式+其它。通过和一般现在时做比较,很快的将一般过去时的否定句,一般疑问句及特殊疑问句的句型整理出来。整节课注重知识的系统性、整体型,并让学生学会举一反三。
