    Knwledge Aims:
    Students are able t use the structure f “Hw ften d yu d sth?” and describe their daily life.
    Students culd use the adverbs and adverb phrase f frequency and describe their daily life.
    Adverbs: always, usually, ften, smetimes, never.
    Adverb phrases: hardly ever.
    Ability Aims:
    Students are able t ask and answer the “Hw ften...” questin by using adverbs and phrases f frequency.
    Students can describe and express daily after-class activities by using “ Hw ften...” and adverbs f frequency.
    Students are able t describe their daily life activities, and imprve their cmmunicatin skills.
    Emtinal Aims:
    After learning this unit, students will pay mre attentin t their health and are inspired their enthusiasm and interest in English learning.

    (1) The usage f frequency adverbs is a relatively imprtant grammar item in junir high schl, and the tpic f this unit riginates frm life. Based n this, I make full use f students' existing knwledge and life experience, let them tell abut their daily activities, create real-life situatins t guide students t learn language in using language, and then use language creatively after learning new language knwledge (learn fr use, learn in use, learn t use).
    (2) T carry ut varius types f task-based activities, I prvide students with space and time fr cperative cmmunicatin, prmpt them t cperate with their classmates in rder t cmplete their tasks and t engage in inquiry-based learning in rder t d s.
    Analysis f students
    The students are in eighth grade (gd, middle and pr students), curius and wrried abut learning English and hpe t get thers' affirmatin. Therefre, I try t let them participate in the teaching activities, have mre pprtunities t speak English, reduce their fear, reduce their learning difficulty thrugh cperative learning amng students, and make them experience the jy f success.

    Warming-up
    (2 mins)
    Greeting.
    Task presentatin
    Watch a shrt vide.
    T gives ut sme cards with G+new wrds/phrases.
    Ss watch the shrt vide and knw tasks. And, each grup within 4-5 Ss will get a card with G+new wrds/phrases.
    Let Ss relax themselves, make the class active and d the grundwrk fr the next step t learn new wrds and phrases.
    Step 2.
    Lead-in
    (2 mins)
    T asks Ss tw questins and let Ss answer questins:
    D yu like weekends?
    What d yu d n weekends?
    They will say Yes, and share their pinins.
    Aruse Ss’ interest and inspire them t say smething abut their activities n weekends.
    Step 3.
    Task ne: Learn the new wrds and phrases.
    (13 mins)
    T shws sme pictures abut new wrds and phrases and teaches: exercise, watch TV, help with husewrk, read and shp/ g shpping. Besides, when T teach the new wrd, T will smetimes invite relative grup t rle as a teacher t teach thers the prnunciatin f that wrd.(5 mins)
    Ss lk at the pictures and learn the new wrds. And smetimes the grup whse name is new wrd will be invite t teach the prnunciatin f this wrd.
    Let Ss have a clear understanding abut meaning and prnunciatin f each wrd. What’s mre, Ss can build their cnfidence when speaking English.
    T asks Ss t raise their hands t read the randm wrds r phrases as sn as quickly and crrectly.

    T chses the grup wh raises hands the mst quickly t let thers read the new wrds after them. After reading all wrds, this grup will say the exercise grup cntinues the activity.(4 mins)
    Ss wh cme frm different wrds grup actively raise hands quickly and let thers read the wrds after them.
    Make gd use f grup cmpetitin and let Ss actively jin in this part.

    Step 4.
    Cmplete 1a. (3 mins)
    T gives Ss 1 min t finish 1a, and then invites them t ludly and crrectly read the wrds and phrases tgether. (bys and girls, grup read & exercise and ther grups) ( 2 mins)
    Ss finish 1a and are invited t read the phrases.
    Ss can cnslidate the new wrds.
    Step 5. Learn and use the adverbs f frequency. (10 mins) 1b
    Find the difference. (3 mins)
    T shws tw dialgues.
    First, invite the “read grup” and “exercise grup” t rle play the first dialgue.
    Secnd, the tw can specify the next tw grups t read the secnd dialgue.
    After finished, T asks them where the difference is between the tw dialgues.
    There are fur grups t read the dialgues and each grup gets ne pint.
    Let Ss be fimilar with the sentence structure and inspire Ss t actively participate in class activities.
    T leads them t learn the adverbs f frequency. (3 mins)
    First, T explains each Chinese meaning f the adverbs f frequency; then, srts the frequency adverbs by the frequency f the actin frm highest t lwest; last, elicits the sentence structure f the tw questins and the answers thrugh the dialgue.
    Ss learn the meaning, prnunciatin and usage f adverbs f frequency. Besides, they als can distinguish sme differences amng them.
    By rdering the adverbs f frequency, Ss can distinguish them and can have a better understanding f the meaning, prnunciatin and usage f them.
    Practice the adverbs f frequency. (1 mins+2 mins +2 mins)
    T plays the tape f 1b twice and asks Ss t finish it. After that, T take an example and asks Ss t practice like the example in 2 mins. When time is up, Ss can raise hands quickly t speak their sentences. Each S is a representative f his grup and she/he culd get a pint if she/he speaks her/his sentence crrectly in prnunciatin and grammar. And, T will still recrd their pints n the blackbard.
    Ss cmbine the adverbs f frequency and wrds&phrases with a sentence.
    What’s mre, sme f them will get several pints as representative f their grup.
    Practice Ss’ ability f creating sentences and imprve the degree f mastery f the meaning and usage f adverbs f frequency.

    Task Three: Practice the cnversatin. (10 mins ) 1 c
    Rle play the cnversatin in 1c. ( 3 mins)
    T invites sme vlunteer grups t rle play the cnversatin in 1c.
    Sme vlunteer grups will be invited t rle play the cnversatin.
    Imprve their ral ability.
    Pair wrk. ( 3 mins + 3 mins)
    T gives an example abut the sentence structure f questin and tw kinds f answer methds, and then gives Ss 3 mins t practice with their desk-mate. Finally, give them 3 r 4 chances t share their cnversatin in frnt f class.
    Ss prepare cnversatin in 5 mins and 3 r 4 f them can have the chance t share their utcme.
    Help them t cnslidate the sentence questins and crrespnding answers.
    Step 7.
    Task sublimatin ( 3 mins)
    With the help f the pair wrk in Task 3, T asks students hw ften they exercise. After that, T says it is because yu’re busy learning several kinds f subjects that yu shuld strengthen sprts, imprve yur physical fitness and lay a gd physical fundatin fr studying t fulfill yur dreams.
    Ss share their pinins and will pay mre attentin t health.
    Increase their cnsciusness, encurage them t fcus n health and enhance physical exercise.
    Step 8. Summary
    (3 mins)
    T reviews the adverbs and adverb phrase f frequency and the answer which is used t respnse the sentence structure f “Hw ”.
    Ss review the new knwledge fllwing T.
    Cmbing thrugh the knwledge f this lessn.
