Convenient

convenient adj. 便利的；方便的；就近的。常见结构有：

it be convenient for sb. to do sth. 对某人来说做……是方便的

... be convenient to / for ... ……对……来说是方便的 / 近便的

[例句]

A bicycle is often more convenient than a car in towns.

在城镇骑自行车往往比开车更方便。

The house is very convenient for several schools.

这座房子离几所学校都很近。

[拓展] convenience n. 方便，合适

形容词与副词的相互转变：
a. 在形容词词尾直接加-ly，构成副词。如： usual-usually, bad-badly等。
[注]：不是所有以-ly结尾的单词都是副词，某些名词后加-ly可以转化为形容词。
如：sisterly, brotherly, friendly, lovely，deadly,lonely, likely, silly, timely等。
b. 以“辅音字母+y”结尾的单词，变y为i，再加-ly，如：heavy-heavily, happy-happily等，并且要注意这些单词的变化：polite-politely, true-truly, terrible-terribly等。
