Step 1 Warming up. 1. Review the words about part 4. 2. Dictation. Step 2 Presentation. 1. Free talk: Q1: Where are you from? Q2: How old are you? Q3: Who’s your friend? Q4: When did you get up yesterday? 2. Show the character Simon, and talk about him with your partner. A: Where is Simon from? B: He is from Australia. 3. Read Part 3 and write the answers on your books, then check the answers. 4. Part 7 Listen to the dialogue. 5. Listen again and complete the sentences. Then check the answer. 6. Listen the third time and Ss read the dialogues after the tape. Step 3 Consolidation. 1. Pair work: Talk about what is your favourite subject and why? 2. Starter Unit Supplementary Activities 4, Ss do and check the answer.
