Step 1、Warm-up 1 .Sing an English song: 《If you are happy》 【设计意图:在快乐的歌曲和氛围中开启英语故事的学习,激发学习兴趣。】 2.Free talk: Are you happy? What do you often do on the weekend? Do you like your homework? When can you finish your homework? Step 2、Presentation 1.Leading in: Can you guess, Is John happy now?When can John finish his homework? Let’s enjoy John’s Saturday and find the answer. 2.Watch and enjoy the whole story. Questions:
What does John do before he finishes his homework?
