教学过程 |
(1) Lead in. Show a picture of a doctor. Say “We have known the family members in your family. Do you know their jobs? Now today we’ll learn Module 9 Unit 2 He is a doctor. We’ll learn some words about jobs.” (2) Chant. Show the picture of a panda. Say “This is a panda. Do you know his family? Now let’s watch the video.” Watch the chant and ask “Who are in his family?”. Students can answer “They are grandpa, grandma, mother, father, brother, sister and him.” This part is useful to revise the words of family members. (3) Lead in. Show the picture of Part 1. Say “ This is Daming’s family. Who are they? What do they do? ” When students see the picture, maybe they can guess the answer. (4) Watch and answer. Play the cartoon. Get students to find out the answer. (5) New words. Show a picture of a policeman and a nurse. Learn the new words of “policeman” and “nurse”. “Policeman” is made up of “policen” and “man”. Learn the plural forms of man and policeman. Give a boy’s picture and let him to introduce the two persons. (6) Repeat. Repeat with the video. (7) Retell. Retell Part 1 in groups. Choose the best one to add points. (8) Key points. Show the structures of how to introduce family members and their jobs. (9) New words. Show a picture of a doctor, a driver and a farmer. Learn the new words of “doctor, driver and farmer”. Sum up the nouns ended with “or” and “er”. Doctor and visitor include “or”. Teacher, driver and farmer include the letters of “er”. Doctor is opposite to nurse. Farmer is opposite to worker. Drive is a verb. Farm is a noun. Teach the phrase “on the farm”. (10) Match the pictures with the right words. It can go over the words of jobs. 2. Practice (1) Listen and say. Listen to the recording. Watch the video to repeat. (2) Introduce. Look at the pictures and introduce their jobs with “She/He’s a ...”. (3) Listen and number. Listen to the recording and number the pictures. (4) Listen and guess in groups. Students say the words, and one student guess. (5) Make and talk. Make hand puppets about your family members and talk about your family. (6) Introduce. Show your family photo and introduce your family to class. (7) Ask and answer in pairs to make a dialog about family members’ jobs. (8) Act and guess in groups. One student acts the job, the other student guesses the job. (9) Choose. Circle the words which are family members and occupations. (10) Say the missing words and translate them into Chinese. At last, choose a winner group to give a prize in order to encourage them. (11) Enjoy a song about dream jobs. This song is very wonderful. Then learn about some more words about jobs. (12) Know. Show some pictures about different kinds of jobs. They are helpful and each kind of job is necessary for our society! We should respect them! 3. Summary Sum up the key words and sentences to revise. |
