本单元主要学习如何谈论家居物品和物品的方位。教师在教学时不必拘泥于本单元的家中摆设的单词，可以结合前面所学的物品的单词，利用三年级下册第四单元学过的In，n,behind等介词，对物品的方位进行操作，从而让学生自然的流利的运用本科所学的语言。教师在教授本单元的时候可以一方面围绕家居类的词汇进行拓展，另一方面也可以对不同的房间类型进行拓展，然后再Fun Time 板块和checkut time 板块的教学中，进行口语操练。
教学目标：
1.在听说读练中，学会单词bedrm, living rm, clck, table ,bathrm
2. 在听说训练中，学会句型：where’s/where are …及其回答it’s /they’re…
3.通过听说训练，能正确听读、辨认字母k在单词中的发音。
4.学会歌谣: I lve my bedrm
情感目标：
通过猜谜、游戏接龙、竞赛、调查等活动充分调动学生的积极性。
教育学生在交际的过程中，用句型where’s/where are …及其回答it’s /they’re…
