一、教学目标(Teaching aims)

1. 通过Look and read的阅读和反馈练习，帮助学生运用核心词汇和句型，掌握 a lot of，some和a little的区别和用法。
2. 通过Do  a quiz的活动，让学生巩固运用Look and read所学的内容，对饮食习惯的好坏作出判断。

1. 词汇：vegetable, a little, chicken, chocolate
2. 句型：They eat/drink a lot of/some/a little ...

四、教学过程(Teaching process)

Pre-task preparations

1. 小组比赛。把全班同学分成两大组，教师快速提问，请第一组中的一个学生大声回答，再请第二组中的一个学生转述。如果两个学生都说对，每组各得一分；如果有一组错，则该组不得分。最后，得分髙的小组获胜。

T: I had some bread, an egg and a glass of milk for breakfast yesterday. What did you have for breakfast/lunch/dinner yesterday?

(Group 1): I had some rice, an egg and an apple for breakfast yesterday.

(Group 2): She had some rice, an egg and an apple for breakfast yesterday.

2. 请一个学生介绍自己和家人的早餐，然后教师询问其他学生关于这个学生家人的早餐情况，活动目的是培养学生倾听他人发言的好习惯。

S1: My father had some rice, two eggs, a glass of milk and a banana for breakfast this morning. My mother had some bread, an egg and an apple. I had a sandwich and a bottle of milk.

T: What did (S1’s name)’s father have for breakfast this morning?

S2: He had some rice, two eggs, a glass of milk and a banana for breakfast.

T: What did his/her mother have?

S3: She had...

While-task procedures

1. 请两个学生表演Listen and say的对话。然后教师提问引出Look and read的学习内容。

T: Joe, you drank some cola for breakfast today. Do you drink a lot of water every day?

Joe: No.

T: You should drink a lot of water every day.

Do you eat a lot of vegetables every day?

Joe: No. I like to eat fish and chicken. And I eat fish and chicken every day.

T: You should eat a lot of vegetables. (point to the corresponding picture)

然后，教师根据图片介绍a lot of，引导学生用a lot of造句。用同样的方法教学a little。

2. 播放Look and read的录音，在学生听录音前提出问题:What do Tim and Judy (healthy children)/Lily and Bob (unhealthy children) often do? What food do Tim and Judy/Lily and Bob eat? 引导学生在听录音时重点关注这些内容，听完后请学生回答问题，并独立完成表格。

然后呈现食物金字塔图，引导学生将两组小朋友吃的食物放入食物金字塔内，通过两图的对比加深学生对a lot of、some、a little的理解，进一步了解健康和不健康饮食结构的差别。

3. 播放Look and read的录音，请学生打开课本逐句跟读，鼓励学生尽量模仿录音中人物的语音语调。跟读完毕后让学生检查自己的表格内容是否正确，如有错误要求学生及时纠正。

4. 让学生看反馈练习，和同桌一起完成Kitty 的回答。然后请每对同桌分别选择介绍一组小朋友喜欢做的活动和喜欢吃的食物。教师在教室内来回巡视，如果学生有困难，及时给予帮助。

Post-task activities

1. 请学生填写Do a quiz的饮食习惯调查表，然后与同桌互相做问卷调查，了解同桌的饮食习惯。

2. 请学生根据调查结果介绍同桌的饮食习惯。教师可以视具体情况决定是否要给予如下提示或帮助。

She eats breakfast every morning.

She drinks a lot of water every day.

She never eats before bedtime.

She eats a little meat and sweet food.

She has good eating habits.
