Then pretend t remember and answer It’s in … Street. Write the name f the place in an empty building pictured n the bard.
Cntinue until the pupils have asked abut all the places n the bard. Then ask the pupils Where’s the …? Encurage them t answer It’s in … Street.

Practice

Shw the pupils the characters and explain that Pat, Tim, Jenny and Kk are in City Centre. Kk and Jenny are asking Tim and Pat abut where the places n the ntice are. Shw the pupils the answers in Tim’s and Pat’s thught bubbles.

Ask the pupils t rle-play the stry in grups f five (ne will be silent as the cameraman) and t read the characters’ speech bubbles. Sme grups may like t cme ut t the frnt and act the stry.

Ask the pupils t read the stry again. Read the wrds in the speech bubbles with the pupils. Demnstrate hw t write the number f the picture which matches the sentences as an example. Check answers using Transparency.

Play the Pupil’s Bk Cassette and ask the pupils t listen t the sund and the wrds.
Pint ut the spelling f this sund. Tell the pupils that smetimes letter c has the same sund as letter s. This is usually befre r after an i r an e.
Say the wrds slwly and clearly. Check that the pupils are saying the sunds crrectly.
Pint t the pictures and check that the pupils can say the wrds withut my mdel.
Play the Pupil’s Bk Cassette again. Ask the pupils t listen t the rhyme and tick the crrect pictures shwing what the girl des in her dream. Get the pupils t repeat the rhyme.

学完C部分后,我请几个学生手举电影院、超市和邮局的图片分别站在教室的几个角落,然后叫学生几个人一组练习对话和表演,学生都很感兴趣。
C部分的新单词比较多,学生学起来有点难。

Tell the pupils t wrk in pairs. Ask them t take turns t be Pupil A and ask Is there a …? Pupil B answers accrding t whether he r she has stuck a picture f that building n the map. Then Pupil A asks Where’s the …? And Pupil B answers accrding t their wn map. After exchanging rles, Pupil A and B cmplete the pster abut City Centre with the infrmatin frm their partner.
At the end, the pupils check the names f the buildings and streets n the psters with the plans in each ther’s bks.
