    In this perid, the students will read a passage abut an intrductin t Han Gan, a famus artist living in Tan Dynasty. Thrugh reading, the students can knw mre abut the Chinese hrse painter’s backgrund knwledge, the feature f art wrks as well as artistic grwth experiences. Reading can cntribute t imprve their understanding f new cncepts and infrmatin.
    In the part f writing, the students are expected t learn hw t write abut an artwrk with the writing help. A shrt passage abut the painting Sunflwers shuld include three parts, that is, intrductin t the artist and the artwrk, main bdy describing the artwrk and cnclusin abut yur wn cmments.
    1. Guide the students t understand the cntent f the text, including the curt painter’s backgrund, the characteristics f his art wrks and the artistic value.
    2. Lead the students t analyze the structure and grasp the theme f the reading material.
    3. Guide the students t think abut as artists’ grwing experiences and treasure their artistic value.
