本单元的话题为四季及其相关活动。日常活动的词汇在四年级上册Unit 4 When Do You Have Classes? 和Unit 8 Boys Like to Play Ball 以及四年级下册Unit 2 I’m Cooking in the Kitchen和Unit4 What Do You Do on Saturday?中都已经有所涉及。本单元在这四个单元的基础上学习四季的特点以及围绕四季的活动,并扩充学习少量月份词汇。同时,频度副词often和sometimes在句子中的表达和应用也是本单元学习的重点和难点。本节课的教学内容为P.10 Let’s learn; P.11 Let’s talk; P.13Tick, ask and answer.

设计意图:以有趣的歌曲活跃气氛,淡化孩子的紧张感,并用歌曲内容为主线,跟学生进行讨论,也为单词句型的学习打下良好的基础。
Step 2 Presentation
1. Show some pictures with the PPT, then lead them to learn the new words about seasons.
2. During the part, ask them some questions to teach the sentence structures.

设计意图:通过PPT逐步呈现四季的变化来学习四季单词,直观清晰,又富有逻辑性。在教授单词的过程中,使用大小声、快闪、小火车拼读等活动来提高孩子们的学习兴趣,增加单词输出量,并及时将单词与句型相结合,做到词不离句,提高孩子们的英语实际运用能力。

Divide them to two groups, and then let them read the text in different ways.

设计意图:通过采访与展示,孩子们不但可以将英语的听、说、读、写有机结合,更可以通过语篇的输出对今天所学的知识点进行升华与拓展,同时也训练了孩子们综合语言运用能力,提高了学习英语的自信心。
Step 4 Summary
Summarize what we’ve learned with the Bb design.
According to the Bb, tell them that we must keep the beauty of four seasons in our earth.
设计意图:在总结本节课内容的同时完善板书设计,并利用板书中的蝴蝶找自己的家来引出本节课的情感目标,教育孩子们要热爱大自然,保护我们赖以生存的环境,让地球的四季更加美丽动人。
Step 5 Homework

Read Let’s learn (P.10) and Let’s talk (P.11) correctly and freely.
2. Written work.
Make a new dialogue with the new words and sentences.
