    通过对熊猫的了解,使学生加强自豪感,因为这是世界稀有动物,是我们国家特有的动物。通过对名人生平事迹的了解,可以使学生懂得成功的不易,更加刻苦努力学习。

    采用整体阅读方法,帮助学生加强对文章的整体理解,以达到预期教学效果。

    生词的学习和记忆,句子的理解。

    Prtect Panda
    The giant panda is knwn as the natinal treasure f China. The panda was a kind f rdinary animal in China lng ag. Hwever, fr sme reasns, t many f them have been killed. S the number f them is falling quickly.
    At present peple are taking an imprtant measure t save pandas. Peple want t find a hme fr them, and recently, they have set up a nature park fr them in Sichuan Prvince,which is called "Pandas' Hme. "There pandas can enjy their life happily. There is a bamb frest near the Pandas' Hme. S the pandas can find bambs easily which they like t eat very much.
    Because pandas are well prtected nw, the number f them is increasing every year. We hpe that ne day we will have enugh pandas t set them free and let them live in the wild again.
    Pandas are gd friends f man. Man shuld try t prtect them and ]et them live in the way they like!
    保护大熊猫
    大熊猫被称为中国的“国宝”。很久以前,大熊猫是中国的一种很普通的动物。然而,由于种种原因,熊猫大量地死亡,所以它们的数量也急剧下降。
    目前,人们正采用一种重要的手段来拯救熊猫。人们想给它们找一个自己的家,近来已经在四川省建成了一所自然公园,叫做“熊猫之家”。在那儿,熊猫们愉快地享受着它们的生活。“熊猫之家”附近有一片竹林,所以熊猫不用费力就能找到它们爱吃的竹子。
    由于受到良好的保护,近些年来,熊猫的数量逐年增长。我们希望在将来的某一天,当我们有足够多的熊猫时,我们便还它们以自由,让它们重返自然。
    熊猫是人类的好朋友,人类应该保护它们,让它们过上随心所欲的生活。

    Albert Einstein
    Albert Einstein was cnsidered the greatest scientist f the 20th century and ne f the greatest f all time. His discveries and theries have greatly influenced science in many fields.
    Einstein was brn in 1879 in Ulm, a city in Germany. As a by, he was slw t learn t talk, but later in his childhd he shwed great curisity abut nature and ability t slve difficult mathematical prblems. After he left schl, he went t Switzerland, where he graduated frm the university with a degree in mathematics.
    In 1905, Einstein began t publish a series f papers which shk the whle scientific and intellectual wrld, and fr the theries he established in the papers he wn the Nbel Prize fr Physics in 1921.
    Because Einstein was Jewish, when Hitler tk ver Germany in 1933, he had t leave the cuntry and finally settled in the United States. There he cntinued his study n the structure f the universe until his death in 1955.
    Amng the several imprtant discveries Einstein made in his life, the greatest is the creatin f his famus Thery f Relativity.

    Hua Tu
    Hua Tu was a famus dctr wh lived 1,700 years ag during the Three Kingdms Perid. He nt nly read widely but travelled extensively in his medical practice. His keen pwers f bservatin, tireless penchant fr research and ability t accurately sum up his experiences enabled him t perfect his healing art ceaselessly.
    Like Bianque* befre him, he had a talent fr making diagnsis by bserving the patients' utward symptms. Once he fund a grup f peple drinking in a tavern and was struck by the cmplexin f ne f them. He went ver t ask the man hw he felt. The reply was that he felt quite alright, just as usual. Hua warned him that he was seriusly ill and that he must nt drink any mre. The man died sn afterwards.
    A versatile practitiner, he was expert in acupuncture. The discvery f jiaji, an acupint n the spine frequently used tday, is attributed t him. He wrte Hua Tu's Bk n Acupuncture, which remained ne f the mst authritative wrks n the subject fr many years after his death.
    One f his great cntributins was the develpment f an ral anaesthetic fr use in surgical peratins. The prescriptin cnsists chiefly f datura blssms and certain ther wild pisnus herbs, all f which grw abundantly in China's suthern regins. His methd later spread t the Arab wrld.
    A famus patient perated n by him was General Guan Yu (see stries frm The Rmance f the Three Kingdms). In a battle Guan Yu had been injured in the arm by a lethally pisnus arrw. Invited t give treatment, Hua Tu cut pen the lesin and scraped the pisn ff the bne. All the while, the general went n playing chess withut a wince. His wund sn healed and the patient suffered n disability whatever.
    With the use f his ral anaesthetic, he is said t have perfrmed many successful majr peratins invlving internal rgans. He must have had a fine grasp f anatmy and physilgy.
    He was als an early expnent f physical exercise fr its curative and preventive value. By bserving and imitating the mvements f certain animals (like the tiger, bear, mnkey and deer) and birds, he designed a set f callisthenics which he called "The Game f Five Animals". Whit this, he cured certain chrnic diseases, ntably disrders f the digestive system, and the game became quite ppular in certain regins f the cuntry during his lifetime.
    But this giant in Chinese medicine did nt cme t a happy end. Called in by Ca Ca, the Prime Minister, t treat his migraine, the dctr relieved him f his pain instantly with the applicatin f a single acupuncture needle at the effective pint. Ca Ca wanted him t remain at curt as his persnal physician. Unwilling t spend his time in the service f a handful f peple, Hua Tu declined n the excuse f an ailing mther wh needed his cnstant attentin. When Ca Ca fund ut this was an evasin, he had him arrested and finally put t death.
    While in prisn, the dctr asked his galer t help smuggle his medical wrks t the utside wrld fr the benefit f the peple. Unable t persuade the galer, wh was afraid t take the risk, Hua Tu cmmitted his wrks t the flames. This was a great lss t the medical heritage f the cuntry.

    In 221BC he finally nuited China after beating ther 6 cuntries - Qi Yan Chu Zha Wei Han .At the age f 39 he became the emperr f the Qing Empire .During his time ,the Great Wall was built,which is knwn as the eighth mir in the wrld.
    In 207BC he died.

    Thmas Edisn was a famus American scientist. He was brn in 1847. When he was a child, he liked t find ut hw things wrked. He was in schl fr nly three mnths. He asked his teacher a lt f strange questins. Mst f them had nthing t d with his lessns. The teacher thught the by was nt bright and was nt wrth teaching. When he tld this t Edisns mther,she tk her sn ut f schl. As she had been a teacher,she taught him herself. The by read a lt. Sn he became very interested in science. At the age f ten, Edisn had already built a chemistry lab fr himself. Ever since then, he never stpped searching fr new and better ways t d things.
    Thmas Edisn was brn n February 11, 1847 and died n Octber 18, 1931. He was an inventr and businessman wh develped many imprtant devices.
    "The Wizard f Menl Park" was ne f the first inventrs t apply the principles f mass prductin t the prcess f inventin.
    In 1880 Edisn funded the jurnal Science, which in 1900 became the jurnal f the American Assciatin fr the Advancement f Science.
    Edisn is cnsidered ne f the mst prlific inventrs, hlding a recrd 1,093 patents in his name.
    Mst f these inventins were nt cmpletely riginal but imprvements f earlier patents, and were actually wrks f his numerus emplyees.
    Edisn was frequently criticized fr nt sharing the credit.
    Nevertheless, Edisn received patents wrldwide, including the United States, United Kingdm, France, and Germany. Edisn started the Mtin Picture Patents Cmpany, which was a cnglmerate f nine majr film studis
