    教学目标

    1. Be able to listen, speak, read and use words such as soup, sweets and bread.

    2. Understand and understand the main idea of the dialogue in the text, and be able to read and perform the dialogue with correct pronunciation and intonation.

    教学重点

    Understand the main idea of the conversation and read the conversation with correct pronunciation and intonation. Use the vocabulary and sentence patterns to express needs and responses.

    教学难点

    Understand that soup and break are uncountable nouns; Sweets is a countable noun, often used in the plural.

    Teacher preparation: multimedia courseware, textbook recordings

    Student Preparation: Pre-class preparation

    教学过程

    1. Warm-up & lead-in

    (1) Ask students to observe the picture and guess the content of the picture. Think about “what does the boy want ?”.

    (2) Listen to the tape of activity 1, and students will watch it with questions.

    (3) Listen to the tape for the second time, students answer the questions.

    (Students can warm up by read the story. Students can also activate the memorized vocabulary in their minds and master the synthesis and expression of new content.)

    2. Presentation

    (1) Ask students to observe the picture and guess the content of the picture. Think about “what can they do ?”.

    (2) Listen to the tape of activity 2, and students will watch it with questions.

    (3) Listen to the tape for the second time, students answer the questions.

    (This part presents the content of this lesson to the students, and assigns the tasks after learning this lesson to the students, so that the students can study purposefully, and let the students know the tasks of this lesson and what they can do in English after learning this lesson.)

    (4) Listen to the tape for the third time and practice reading the text.

    (5) Listen to the tape and imitate the pronunciation and intonation.

    (6) Students show their reading on the platform.

    (7) Explain the key and difficult point.

    (In the process of listening, following and imitating, let students feel the rhythm of English and correct their pronunciation.)

    1. Practice

    (1) Ask students to observe the picture and guess the content of the picture. Think about “what can they do ?”.

    (2) Listen to the tape of activity 3, and students will watch it with questions.

    (3) Listen to the tape for the second time, students answer the questions.

    (4) Ask and answer in groups, One student ask another student. The student answer the question and then asks the next student, and so on.

    (Through practising the dialogue, students comprehensively apply the knowledge of “I can jump high. Can you?Yes, I can./ No, I can't.” to complete the task of this lesson.)

    The teaching object of this course is the fourth grade students, who are lively, eager, pure and lovely. Most of the students like English class. They can listen attentively and speak actively in class. After nearly one and a half years of English learning, most of the students have acquired certain listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, and have good imitation ability. Under the guidance of the teacher, they can use the basic sentence patterns they have learned for language practice, and actively participate in and interact with each other in classroom teaching; With the help of the group leader, I can learn from each other in groups.
