Fr the last three nights I hadn’t slept t well. (17) I wuld wake up ver an hur earlier thannrmal and then be unable t get back t sleep. (17) I lked at my cell phne and it was 4 ’clck, stillearly. I was a bit tired then I went int my bedrm t watch a little televisin. The nightly news wasuninteresting. I turned it ff and put n sme music instead. I became excited. (18) S I picked up a bkand tried t read but culd feel my eyelids getting heavier and heavier. Finally, I clsed them and laidmy bk n my chest. Anap wuld be just what I needed.
After a while I felt smething rising frm my bdy. And warm breath hit me right in the face. (19) Islwly pened my eyes and saw a lng, sweet lking face cvered in white and glden fur. Its pinknse was breathing n me and its big, brwn eyes were lking at me with lve. I smiled and said,“Hell”. I hugged his neck, petted his head and laughed as he cntinued t shwer me with his lve. Ithught t myself: “what a wnderful wrld with cats and dgs this wuld be.”
