教材分析：
本课是第一单元中的第四课，本单元中，前三课是通过Li Yan邀请好朋友Kate到自己家中做客，并重点介绍卧室、起居室和厨房中物品的真实场景，让学生整体感知对话、模仿、学习和体验，让学生学会运用”There is / are ...” 进行交际。而本课是通过Kate邀请Li Yan到自己家中做客，并向Li Yan介绍自家的书房陈设的真实情景，引导学生学习用英语询问并介绍某处有某物的“ What’s in the There is / are ...”功能句,具有承上启下的作用。再则，从本单元来说它既是本单元的基本语言内容，又为本单元知识扩展和综合语言运用奠定坚实的基础。，既可让知识学习具有一定的延续性，又可为下面的教学做好铺垫，对完成本单元和今后的英语教学具有重要的意义.
学情分析：
四年级的学生已有一定的英语基础，而本课的内容是在他们原有的知识基础上，再增加新的知识。他们前面就已经学过”There is / are ...”,所以在热身活动部分，我通过chant和用语言”Lk at the ... . There is / are... “来描述卧室、起居室和厨房中的物品，在教学 ”What’s in the There is / are ...”，学生易于接受，也降低了学生学习的难度。
知识目标：听说认读study,cmputer,picture. 运用What’s in my study? There is/are…交流
能力目标：培养学生灵活运用语言知识的能力
情感目标：爱家庭，帮忙做家务，承担责任

教学反思：
爱因斯坦说过:“兴趣是最好的老师”。可见，兴趣是最好的老师，也是使学生能持之以恒地学习的催化剂，没有兴趣就没有求知欲。爱动爱玩、爱唱爱跳是孩子们的天性，所以注重培养学生的学习兴趣，利用趣味活动，多采用游戏教学和活动教学等手段，让他们在又说又唱、又蹦又跳中学习，就能激发学生学习欲望，激发学习情感，使学生在轻松愉快的教学气氛中积极、热情高涨、全身心地投入到每节课的学习活动中去，其学习效率就会大幅度提高。 因此英语教师要在教学中有意识地培养学生对英语的持久兴趣,激励学生不断处于较佳的学习状态之中, 使他们对英语乐学、善学、会学,学而忘我,乐此不疲。
本课中，我用学生喜爱的chant为主线 ，来激发学生学习英语的兴趣。如在热身复习环节中，我用chant“There is a big TV, in my living rm, in my living rm. ”来复习前三课学过的内容，创设了良好的学习英语的氛围。在新授环节中,在教完单词“cmputer”之后，我引导学生说chant“Cmputer,cmputer,cmputer, there is a cmputer”.在教完句型 “What’s in the is/are ... ”后，我又用chant“What’s,what’s,what’s,what’s in the study?Picturre,picture,picture,there is a picture.”来巩固新句型，学生也可以自编一个新的chant，让学生说起来朗朗上口，大大激发了学生的学习兴趣。在学完课文后，我又用chant “What’s in yur living rm?”来巩固新知，也为下一步的拓展应用做好铺垫。
本课我还利用猜一猜的游戏来巩固新学的新单词，用PPT创设卧室、起居室和厨房的情景，促进学生的会话能力，在拓展应用中，我让学生在课前准备好自己理想家中的样子，在学习语言后，让学生两人一组，可以运用以前学过的知识，结合本课的新知，创编一个询问家中物品的对话，培养了学生综合语言运用的能力。整堂课时时注意激发学生的学习兴趣。
当然，在本课中，还存在着一些不足，如：对学生语言的训练还不够，在以后的教学中，有待加强。
总之，教师就像是导演，而学生就是演员。一部电影是否能成功上演，演员是最重要的成分之一。我们的教学工作也是如此，学生的地位是不可忽视的。在以后的教学中，我会经常走近学生，不断与学生沟通，这样才能使课堂形成富有情趣的、精彩纷程的教学过程，让学生体验到学习英语的快乐。
