本课是第一单元中的第四课,本单元中,前三课是通过Li Yan邀请好朋友Kate到自己家中做客,并重点介绍卧室、起居室和厨房中物品的真实场景,让学生整体感知对话、模仿、学习和体验,让学生学会运用”There is / are ...” 进行交际。而本课是通过Kate邀请Li Yan到自己家中做客,并向Li Yan介绍自家的书房陈设的真实情景,引导学生学习用英语询问并介绍某处有某物的“ What’s in the There is / are ...”功能句,具有承上启下的作用。再则,从本单元来说它既是本单元的基本语言内容,又为本单元知识扩展和综合语言运用奠定坚实的基础。,既可让知识学习具有一定的延续性,又可为下面的教学做好铺垫,对完成本单元和今后的英语教学具有重要的意义.
学情分析:
四年级的学生已有一定的英语基础,而本课的内容是在他们原有的知识基础上,再增加新的知识。他们前面就已经学过”There is / are ...”,所以在热身活动部分,我通过chant和用语言”Lk at the ... . There is / are... “来描述卧室、起居室和厨房中的物品,在教学 ”What’s in the There is / are ...”,学生易于接受,也降低了学生学习的难度。

能力目标:培养学生灵活运用语言知识的能力
情感目标:爱家庭,帮忙做家务,承担责任

教学反思:
爱因斯坦说过:“兴趣是最好的老师”。可见,兴趣是最好的老师,也是使学生能持之以恒地学习的催化剂,没有兴趣就没有求知欲。爱动爱玩、爱唱爱跳是孩子们的天性,所以注重培养学生的学习兴趣,利用趣味活动,多采用游戏教学和活动教学等手段,让他们在又说又唱、又蹦又跳中学习,就能激发学生学习欲望,激发学习情感,使学生在轻松愉快的教学气氛中积极、热情高涨、全身心地投入到每节课的学习活动中去,其学习效率就会大幅度提高。 因此英语教师要在教学中有意识地培养学生对英语的持久兴趣,激励学生不断处于较佳的学习状态之中, 使他们对英语乐学、善学、会学,学而忘我,乐此不疲。
本课中,我用学生喜爱的chant为主线 ,来激发学生学习英语的兴趣。如在热身复习环节中,我用chant“There is a big TV, in my living rm, in my living rm. ”来复习前三课学过的内容,创设了良好的学习英语的氛围。在新授环节中,在教完单词“cmputer”之后,我引导学生说chant“Cmputer,cmputer,cmputer, there is a cmputer”.在教完句型 “What’s in the is/are ... ”后,我又用chant“What’s,what’s,what’s,what’s in the study?Picturre,picture,picture,there is a picture.”来巩固新句型,学生也可以自编一个新的chant,让学生说起来朗朗上口,大大激发了学生的学习兴趣。在学完课文后,我又用chant “What’s in yur living rm?”来巩固新知,也为下一步的拓展应用做好铺垫。
本课我还利用猜一猜的游戏来巩固新学的新单词,用PPT创设卧室、起居室和厨房的情景,促进学生的会话能力,在拓展应用中,我让学生在课前准备好自己理想家中的样子,在学习语言后,让学生两人一组,可以运用以前学过的知识,结合本课的新知,创编一个询问家中物品的对话,培养了学生综合语言运用的能力。整堂课时时注意激发学生的学习兴趣。
当然,在本课中,还存在着一些不足,如:对学生语言的训练还不够,在以后的教学中,有待加强。
总之,教师就像是导演,而学生就是演员。一部电影是否能成功上演,演员是最重要的成分之一。我们的教学工作也是如此,学生的地位是不可忽视的。在以后的教学中,我会经常走近学生,不断与学生沟通,这样才能使课堂形成富有情趣的、精彩纷程的教学过程,让学生体验到学习英语的快乐。
