【案例背景】
《Unit6 My holiday》第二课时是义务教育教科书陕旅版小学英语五年级下册第47页的内容。本课的话题围绕假期旅行展开,以PartA中Let’s talk 的部分对话为主,结合三年级下册《How Do You Come to School?》中有关交通方式的表达,及四年级下册《Where Are You Going?》中be going to结构,引入假期活动的计划,复习第一课时中有关假期旅游以及名胜古迹的词汇。重点学习如何谈论假期的活动安排,其难点是对助动词will引导的一般将来时句子结构的理解和运用。
教学目标:
1.能听懂Let’s talk部分中与旅行相关的词汇。
2.能运用May Day is coming. Where will you go on the holiday?I will go to ... with ... We can visit many places of interest there.I will enjoy my visit there. 谈论将来某一假期的旅行计划。
3.能运用What is the...like? It is... There are many... in it.谈论名胜的特点。
4.能听、说、熟读对话,语音语调准确自然。
教学重点:
1.掌握句型 Where will you go on the holiday?I will go to ... with ... We can visit many places of interest there.I will enjoy my visit there.
2.熟读对话内容,并谈论自己的假期活动安排。
教学难点:
助动词will引导的一般将来时句子结构的理解和运用。

T:Because I have three hobbies. I like drawing in my free time. I like making friends.And I like traveling on my holidays. When I was traveling. I took many photos. Would you like to see photos of my trips?
S: Yes, I’d like to.
(教师用PPT播放自己旅游时拍的一些照片,并对每张照片中的城市、名胜古迹做简单的介绍。)
T:Qindao is a Sailing training base. Shanghai is a modern city. We can enjoy the beautiful places in Yunnan. It’s warmer in winter. So many people go to Hainan for their winter holidays. The Potala Palace is famous in the world. ... My holiday life is colorful. (引出课题)
【评析:创设旅游情景,通过欣赏老师旅游的照片,学生开始憧憬自己的假期生活,从而激发学生想要表达的欲望。】

i. 新课展示 Part A Let’s talk
T: May Day is coming. Where will you go on the holiday?
T&S1: I will go to... (引导学生尝试说一说)
教师板书、领读、讲解功能句:Where will you go on the holiday?I will go to ... with my parents. (两人一组,自主练习句型,并展示交流。)
微课讲解:(will在一般将来时中的用法,举例:肯定句,一般疑问句,特殊疑问句)
【设计意图:通过合作探究,自主学习,突破难点助动词will引导的一般将来时句子结构的理解和运用。】

T:For example: ... (引导学生伴随课件图片依次说出词汇,真正做到“温故知新”。)
T: All right. We can visit many places of interest there. I’ll enjoy my visit there. Pay attention to the phrase. “many places of interest”(许多名胜古迹)
T: Do you want to know more about the Palace Museum?
S:Yes.
T: I will take you to visit it.(播放故宫的航拍视频,教师做导游)The Palace Museum is also called the Forbidden City, which started to be built in AD 1406. It took 200,000 people fourteen years to build it. There is 52 meter wide moat outside the wall surround. There are 9,999rooms in all the Palaces. And all the rooms are red and yellow. Because red means happiness and good luck, yellow is nobel in China.Then think about! What is the Palace Museum like?
ii. Listen and answer
T: May Day is coming. Where will Alice go ? Listen to the tape and answer the questions.
(播放Let’s talk部分的录音,第一遍录音让学生听,第二遍要求学生模仿其语音语调并跟读对话,教师要注意引导学生读得准确、流畅。)

【评析:新授过程始终以情景教学为主,从“点到面”,从“句到篇”,提炼出对话中的重点词汇、句型,在创设的情景中一一突破,为后面的对话教学做了扎实的铺垫。通过播放两段视频,为课堂教学提供了良好的情绪背景,让学生兴致勃勃甚至兴高采烈地完成了重点句型的学习,这是教学的最佳精神状态。注重语感教学,加强听说训练,努力做到视、听、说同步,培养英语学习兴趣。】

ii.鼓励学生小组合作创编对话,谈论假期的活动安排。(教师提供有效帮助)

i. 介绍自己的外国朋友Kitty,播放一段关于Kitty暑假计划的录音。让学生根据录音补充所缺的内容,并展示自己的成果。

1.Act the dialogue with your partner.
2.Make a plan of your summer holidays, eg: I will go to ... with ..., I'll visit..., It's... I'll enjoy my visit there.

【案例反思】
1.狠抓基础 注意容量
一方面突出知识重点,狠抓基础,一方面面向全体学生,注意容量,平时注意了解和分析每个学生的具体实际情况,课堂上,让每个学生都参与学习活动,设置不同的情景,在情景中进行教学,学生们不知不觉地学习了知识,使教学走向希望。
2.温故知新 克服遗忘
注意在课堂上经常复现新知识,让学生反复操练,由易到难顺利完成一个个学习目标。用以前学过的词语操练新句型或已学过的句式学习新单词。及时对重点内容进行练习,加深印象。
3.采取新颖多样的教学方法
在整个教学过程中,采用了创设情境、组织活动、交际互动、任务型教学法等。强调学生在交际中,理解运用本课的语言功能项目,培养学生的说英语的兴趣。
