一、整体设计思路
Unit 2 Days and Mnths主要教学内容是表达日期、节日和天气,描述节日具体在哪一天学生正确使用序数词。Lessn 9 主要来学习节日的新单词,并询问节日的具体时间。本节课通过创设情境,让学生感受节日的氛围,抓住学生的注意力。引出生词和重点句型When is it?It’s in …。围绕主线:When is it?(六个具体的节日)— When is yur birthday?(询问别人的生日)采用了歌谣、游戏、问答等丰富的课堂活动。
二、学习目标:
知识目标:
1、学生能够认识、理解和应用重点句型:When is it?
2、学生能够运用序数词正确表达New Year’s Day, Spring Festival, Internatinal Wrker’s Day, Children’s Day,Teacher’s Day, Natinal Day .
3、学生可以灵活运用句型: When is +节日? It is +日期。
能力目标:能用本课时的句型,围绕节日或生日进行交流;能在情境中灵活地运用月份和序数词来表达日期。
情感目标:通过学习本课,增强爱国意识,时刻热爱和维护我们伟大的祖国。

学习难点:
When 引导的特殊疑问句用来询问时间,句子结构为 when + is + 节日(重要事件)?回答句为 It + is + 日期。

T:We have an imprtant festival in China. Guess what is it? It's the traditinal festival in ur China. We have a lng hliday in this festival. We can get lucky mney, we put n new clthes and we grw lder. What is it?
The students lked at the calendar and find ut when the festival is.
T: When is the Spring Festival?
S: It's ____
T:Spring Festival smetimes in January ,but smetimes in February .s we can say it is in January r February.
③Use the same way we can learn Children’s Day/ Teacher’s Day/ Natinal Day
Children’s Day ------yur festival/ student’s favrite festival.
Teacher’s Day-------- a festival celebrated fr teachers.
Natinal Day--------- a festival celebrated fr establishing ur cuntry.
(3) Shw the pictures f the festivals and get the students t ask “When is it?” and answer.
借助“猜一猜”活动,呈现本课新知New Year’s Day/Spring Festival/Children’s Day /Teacher’s Day/ Natinal Day ,运用句型“When is it?”
“It’s...” 并进行回答。
利用多媒体,播放各种节日的音乐和精美图片,可以吸引学生的注意力,调动他们的积极性,培养学生学习英语的兴趣。同时感受不同节日的氛围。
