学情分析:五年级的学生已经有了一定的英语学习基础,大部分孩子对英语有着浓厚的学习兴趣和自信心,且有一定的自主学习能力。本节课主要是综合复习第四至第六单元知识点,使学生在一定情境中理解并灵活运用目标语言,引导学生充分展示自己对所学目标语言的运用能力,体验运用英语表达自己的快乐,树立学好英语的自信心,争取成为一名英语学习的知之者和好之者。
Teaching aims
Knowlege aims: review the knowledge points of unit4-6. eg: talk about seeing a doctor and sports.
Ability aims: to be able to apply the knowledge points of unit4-6 in real
situation.
Feeling aims: guide the pupils to care about others and like sports.
Teaching aids: CAI, pictures,problem cards
The important points: talk about seeing a doctor and sports.
The difficult points: to be able to apply the knowledge points of unit4-6
in real situation.
Teaching procedure:
Step1 Warm-up and revision
1. Play a game
Guess the phrases and then fly the balloons.
设计意图:通过这个一或两人表演,一人猜的游戏,复习了四五六单元的短语,通过奖励足球等图片,合理评价学生,也为后面的活动做了铺垫。也使学生轻松地进入英语学习的氛围。
Step2 Presentation
- Look at the treasure box and the tips and then tell the pupils that we are going to look for treasure.
设计意图:设计情景教学活动,告诉学生本节课我们要去三个地方完成相应的任务去寻宝,激发学生的好奇心与求知欲。
Go to the first place, clinic. Let’s see what happened in it..
There are so many patients in the clinic. Look! Who’s he?(Bob) Oh! Bob is in the clinic! Let’s see what’s wrong with him?
Ask the question, explain and write it.
Try to chant together and then chant in roles.
Task1 ask and answer, and then act
They are patients, too. Let’s see what’s wrong with them?
Choose one picture, one situation and act .
Speak Bob’s question: Remember them.
Task2 check eyes
- Ask and answer according to the eyesight chart and check eyes in the clinic.
设计意图:在第一个地方诊所,我们遇到了本节课的主人公Bob,引导学生猜Bob怎么了?然后听chant并学习chant,以及分角色chant。在医院碰到了其他的病人,引导学生根据病人情况问答练习,巩固了看病的重点句式。然后诊所为孩子们免费视力检测活动,既复习了四五六单元的重点短语与句式,也告诉了学生要养成爱护自己的眼睛的好习惯。
- Congratulate to the students. And then go to the second place, Bob’s home. Go to see and greet to Bob.
Task1 act like Bob
Ask one student to act like Bob,and then task some students to talk with him.
Task2 Play a game
Bob feels very happy and then play a game with the students.
设计意图:通过带领小学生一起去Bob家看望问候他,并给他带去礼物,引导学生扮演Bob,并和他一起玩火柴人的游戏,复习了看望病人的话题,以及运动等话题,学生在情景和游戏中运用了语言。
Take out the football card. Look at the back of it and do the exercise in groups. Check the answer.
And then take out the volleyball card. Look at the back of it and do the exercise in groups. Put them on the paper of the playground.
So we’re in the third place.—on the playground. The children are having a sports meeting. Bob is well now. And he is here, too. Where is Bob? He’s here. What is he doing?
Step3 Practice
They are all good players. Let’s cheer for them!
设计意图:引导学生以小组为单位,做奖励球卡后面的题,然后拼在操场上的适当位置,进而带领孩子来到了运动会操场上,并看到了已经病好的Bob,让学生看图,并回答Bob正在干什么,引导学生以小组为单位为运动员们加油,既培养了孩子们的团队合作精神,也进一步复习了并运用了进行时的用法。
Task2 Try to be the little reporter
The sports meeting need some reporters. Try to report the news for the sports meeting in pairs. Show the report.
You went to the three places and finished the tasks. So the treasure box is coming. What’s in it? Oh! The treasure is a suggestion...
Have a summary… You have mastered the knowledge, so you get so sweet apples.
设计意图:为运动会选拔小记者报道员,进一步引导孩子们运用所学知识,在情景中锻炼了孩子们综合运用语言的能力。通过苹果树,引导孩子们总结本节课所学内容,让孩子们懂得了努力付出后才会收获甜甜的果实的道理。
