Pay attentin t the bjective clauses.
在复合句中,由一个句子充当宾语,这个句子叫作宾语从句。本单元主要学习由that, whether / if引导的宾语从句。掌握宾语从句的引导词、时态及语序是学习宾语从句的关键。仔细观察下面的例句,然后补全结论部分所缺的内容
A.如果宾语从句是由陈述句转变而来,其引导词用that。that本身无意义,在从句中不作任何成分,可以省略。例如:
Jim said,“I miss my grandparents very much."
Jim said that he missed his grandparents very much.
B.如果宾语从句是由一般疑问句转变而来,其引导词要用if/whether,意为“是否”。在转变为宾语从句后,从句都要用陈述语序。例如:
Mr. Qin asks,“D yu like playing ftball?"
Mr. Qin asks if/whether we like playing ftball.
宾语从句无论是由一般疑问句转变而来,还是由特殊疑问句转变而来,在转变为宾语从句后,都要用陈述语序。例如:
Is Daming’s father a teacher? D yu knw?
D yu knw if Daming's father is a teacher?
[注意]当与r nt连用时,只能用whether.
A.如果主句是一般现在时,从句的时态不作限制,可根据句子的需要使用任何一种时态。例如:
I hear that she will g abrad next mnth.
He tells me that he visited the Palace Museum last mnth.
B.如果主句是一般过去时,从句的时态则相应地使用过去的某种时态。例如:
Jim said that he fund his lst dictinary.
Betty asked her if she was watching TV at eight last night.
C. 如果宾语从句叙述的是客 观真理、自然现象、名言警句等,不管主句是什么时态,从句都用一般现在时。例如:
Our teacher tld us that the sun rises in the east.
My mther said that time is mney.

Pay attentin t the exclamatry statements.
用来表达喜、怒、哀、乐等强烈感情的句子叫感叹句。感叹句一般用what或hw引导,句末用感叹号。what修饰名词,hw修饰形容词或副词。
1) What + a/ an + adj. + 可数名词单数(+主谓语)! e.g. What a brave by (Tm is)! What an excellent idea (it is)!2) What + adj. + 可数名词复数(+主谓语)! e.g. What beautiful pictures (they are)!3) What + adj. + 不可数名词(+主谓语)! e.g. What delicius fd (it is)!
what引导的感叹句:
Hw + adj. / adv. + 主语 + 谓语! e.g. Hw happy the children were! Hw carefully he is reading! Hw+主语+谓语!e.g. Hw time flies! Hw he wished that Chang’e culd cme back!
Tips:以what和hw开头的感叹句可以相互转换,但句中部分单词的顺序有所改变。e.g. What a tall building it is! = Hw tall the building is!
