1、词汇:cool, little, cute.
2、句子: This is my big brother.----He is cool.
教学重难点
(1)词汇:cool, little, cute.
(2)学会用 “This is my big brother.” “ He is cool..”的语言结构。
教具:多媒体电脑、课件、单词卡.
教学过程
一、导入
1、a song
2、复习学过的形容词:nice, clever, naughty, shy;家庭成员单词: father, mother ,brother, sister.
3、试着介绍自己的家庭成员。
4、自主学习课文,标注自己不懂的问题。
二、新授:
1、用单词卡片教授新词.
2、用 This is ...介绍自己的同学
Example:This is XiaoHong. She is clever.
This is LiHai. He is shy.
三、巩固练习
1、游戏记忆单词.
2、两人一组用语言结构This is ...He is /She is...
四、教师讲解:
(1) Point out the different meanings of the word “cool”.
In this unit, “cool” means fashionable, and it is most commonly used to mean “quite cold”. The word “cool” has other meanings as well, but they are ones that the students are unlikely to come across in the future.
(2) Listen to the tape and underline the new words. Write down these adjectives on the board, and then learn these new words.
Listen to the tape again. Read the text.
Close your book. Use CAI shows the pictures of text. Choose some students to describe the pictures.
(3) Listen and say, then say the poem and do the actions.
Play the spoken version of the poem. And have the students. Repeat each line. Play the tape and have the students.
(4)Tell the students that they are going to work in groups of three or four.
五、课堂小结:
1、让几个学生大声说出本课出现的形容词。
2、让每个同学都准备:用学过的形容词表述一个人(至少两句话)。老师抽查。
