Unit 3 Could you please clean your room?

1知识与技能：

1）重点单词和词组

do chores, do the dishes, make the bed, take out the rubbish, fold the clothes, sweep the floor, clean the living room.

2）使用could 做出礼貌请求

2.过程与方法：通过合作探究的方法结局本课的重点知识点

3.情感态度与价值：帮助父母做家务, 学会照顾自己，培养自己的独立意识。

教学重点：

谈论做家务的词汇，情态动词could的使用方法。

教学难点：

Could you please clean your room?的肯定和否定回答

Step 1 Lead in

1. Show a photo of a man. Guess who he is.
2. Then show more pictures of his house. Guide students to talk about his house. Lead them to say “ He needs to do chores.”  

Step 2 Presentation

1. New vocabulary

1)     Show pictures to learn new words.

2)     Q: What other chores do you do?

2. Let’s talk. Q: How often do you do chores?

Ask several students to talk about the chores they do at home by using some frequency words.

3. Sentence pattern to make suggestions and the answers:

1)     Ask the students to give some advice to the man whose house is dirty.

2)     Could you please do...?

Yes, sure. /All right. /No problem./ Certainly.

Sorry, I can’t. I have to do......

Sorry, I can’t. I am doing......

( 提示学生在拒绝别人建议请求后，最好给出理由。)

Step 3 Listening

1. Listen. Who will do these chores? Check (√) Peter’s mother or Peter.
2. Repeat after the player one by one.

Step 4 A little game

Which row is the fastest?

Pass the sentence from the first to the last student. The fastest row is the winner. It can get some gifts from the teacher.

Step 5 Group work

Today is Clean-up Day. Four students makes a group. One is the parent. Use the sentence pattern to ask the kids to help.

Step 6 Agree or disagree

Parents don’t think it is necessary for students to do chores. Do you agree or disagree? Why?

1)     Write the ideas on the sticker. Read some.

2)     Then ask others to put it on the blackboard.

3)     Summarize that students need to share the chores at home.

4)     Moral education: love our parents, share the chores.

5)     Enjoy a piece of music.

Step 8 Summary

Step 8 Homework

1 List all the main phrases of doing chores that you know. （必做）

教学反思：

这节课教学目标比较明确，重难点清晰，通过图片展示来学习词汇。课首，展示一张照片让学生根据问题猜猜他是谁，调动了学生了学习兴趣。通过小游戏，groupwork和写观点的练习之后，大部分学生掌握了这节课的主要内容。不足之处，教师在解释个别语法的时候可以更有耐心，更加具实些。个别学生在互动方面稍有欠缺，有待提高。
