一、课时目标
- 能运用first、second、now来表示做事情的顺序。
2. 能听、说、认读单词“cut”,“tie”和“draw”。
3. 能听懂、会说句子“First, tie these”,“Then cut two small holes for my eyes, and cut two big holes for my arms”,“Now let me draw something on it”。
4. 能理解并表演故事。
5. 提高学生自主学习、主动学习的能力和意识,培养学生旧物改造的意识,让学生在“做中学”创造良好的英语学习氛围。
二、教学重难点
1. 能运用first、second、now来表示做事情的顺序。
2. 边做边介绍自己的作品。
三、教学准备
多媒体课件,一件旧t恤,剪刀,蜡笔。
四、教学过程
I. Greeting
T: Good morning, boys and girls.
Ss: Good morning, Miss Q.
T: How are you?
Ss: I’m fine, thank you.
II. Warm up
1. Make a new bag
T: Look, what’s this?
Ss: It’s a T-shirt.
T: Yes, it’s an old T-shirt. Now let’s make it into a new thing.
T makes a new bag, and teach the word “first”, “then”, “now”, “cut”, “tie”, “draw”.
- Enjoy a video.
III. Presentation
1. Guess.
T: I know someone who can also make a new thing from an old T-shirt. Who is he? You can guess “Is he...?”.
S1: Is he Zip?
S2: Is he Zoom?
T show Zoom with a new cute coat. And ask Ss to ask questions about the coat.
2.T shows the pictures and ask Ss to find the answer to the question how does he get the coat.
3.Ask Ss to read the story quickly to find the answer to the question what are you going to do.
4.Ask Ss to watch the video and find how to make the coat.
IV. Practice
1.Ask Ss to act part3-part5.
2.Ask Ss to read after the video.
3.Ask Ss to act the story.
V. Extension
Ask Ss to work in groups of four and make a new thing from an old thing. Then make a report.
VI. Homework
Try to make a new thing from your old things.
