Step 1:Warm-up and Lead-in (1)At the beginning of the class, greet the class with a smile and review some words and phrases in the last period. (2)the teacher will show a picture of a job ad to the students and ask some questions : a. What's this? b. Where can you see it? c. What is the purpose of making it? After 3 minutes,some students will be invited to share their answers. Step2:Presentation The teacher show photos of Peter, Ma Huan and Alan and tell the students that they have many abilities and hobbies. Then say to the students ,“Do you want to know them? You can read these three descriptions about Peter, Ma Huan and Alan in 2a”. Step3:Reading (1)Ask students to read these three descriptions in 2a. After reading, ask the students what Peter, Ma Huan and Alan can do, and underline the answers in the descriptions. Check the correct answers with the class. (2)Look at 2b and read these three ads. In the process of reading, pay attention to the following questions and write down the new words and phrases. What are the main contents of these three ads? What is the purpose of these three ads? What title can we add to these ads? The teacher explains the meaning and usage of new words and phrases to ensure that students can understand and master this knowledge. Ask the students to read these ads again. After reading, invite some students to answer the two questions, and the teacher will give comments on their answers. Ask students look at the three titles and match titles with these three ads. Look at the three given titles, match them with the three ads, and then the teacher gives the correct matching. (3)Ask students to read the three descriptions in 2a again, tell them Peter, Ma Huan and Alan want to participate in these activities. Ask the students to match each person with an ad in 2b, write A, Band C. | |||||||||||
