Measuring abut 13,170 miles lng, the Great Wall f China is n dubt the lngest man-made prject n the earth. It was nce widely believed that it culd be seen frm the space. Yang's negative respnse may prbably put ut a fair number f peple's passin. But it pwerfully crrected the miscnceptin. The wall is indeed majestic, but yu wn't see it frm the space!
In fact, Neil Alden Armstrng, the American astrnaut wh first set ft n the mn in 1969, was asked many times whether r nt he had seen the Great Wall frm the mn. Recently frm a sund recrding annunced by NASA Jhnsn Space Center, Armstrng said that he had seen the cntinents, lakes and blue spts tuched with red. But he culd nt make ut any man-made bject n the earth frm the mn.
The Great Wall is narrw and irregular. In space, smething irregular is hard t bserve. Measuring abut 10 metres wide n average, it easily merges(融入)int the surrunding envirnment. With slely the naked eye, it is ttally invisible at a height f 196,850 feet. T watch the wall n the mn is like seeking fr a single hair frm abut 2,688 metres away. T say an astrnaut can see it frm the space is bviusly nt true.
Hwever, sme peple intrduced an idea t make the Great Wall visible frm the space. If we install bright sptlights n the wall, astrnauts will see the lights at night. But this suggestin has nt been carried ut by scientific experiments.

Antiquities(文物) are ancient bjects and artwrks. Many peple visit museums t view antiquities. They enjy seeing these relics f the ancient wrld as a way f understanding past cultures and smetimes cnnecting with their wn heritage.
Museums get wrks t shw frm many different surces. Smetimes they buy them. Other times they receive dnatins. Tday there are strict guidelines frbidding art that has been stlen frm ther cuntries. He says, “Many antiquities and wrks f art have special cultural value fr a particular cmmunity r natin. When these wrks are taken frm their riginal cultural setting, they lse their cntext and the culture lses a part f its histry.”
Accrding t Bell, a cuntry's request fr the return f an antiquity “usually has a strng legal basis.” “It was exprted (出口) illegally, prbably als dug ut illegally, and is nw stlen prperty (财物).” He called the return f antiquities “an expressin f justice”.
James Cun says nt always. Cun is the president f the J. Paul Getty Museum, an art museum in Ls Angeles. Cun agrees that museums have a legal duty t return illegally exprted antiquities. Hwever, he desn't supprt the return f wrks which were gt legally. “Land held tday by a given natin-state(单一民族独立国家) in the past likely belnged t a different if ne wants t return thse stlen wrks f art, where will ne d s? Which amng the many cuntries, cities, and museums that wn parts f a wrk f art shuld be the hme f the returned wrk?” Cun believes that museums shuld cllect art frm the wrld's varius cultures. This shuld be dne “thrugh buying r lng-term lan (长期借用) and wrking tgether with museums and natins arund the wrld.”
This debate is far frm ver. As a cmplex questin with n easy answer, the issue requires mre study.

根据第一段最后一句“Cnsequently, this statement has gne deep int peple's minds and becme an hnr that Chinese peple have enjyed fr years.” Sme media even reprted with affected seriusness, “The biggest building the astrnauts culd see frm the space is the wall, which lks very much like a black wrm.”
故选A。

根据第二段第一、二、三句“Museums get wrks t shw frm many different surces. Smetimes they buy them. Other times they receive dnatins.” 故选A。
根据第四段“Accrding t called the return f antiquities ‘an expressin f justice’.”以及倒数第二段第三句“Cun agrees that museums have a legal duty t return illegally exprted antiquities.”
根据最后一段“This debate is far frm ver. As a cmplex questin with n easy answer, the issue requires mre study.”

Unlike the children nwadays, the children during ancient times didn't have smart phnes, iPads r cmputers t entertain(娱乐) themselves. Let's take a lk.
Fr example, the swallw-shaped kite is a well-knwn Beijing style.
There are tw ways t play. One way is cvering a child's eyes while ther kids run arund t tease(戏弄) him.
It is said that there was a beast named Nian in ancient China. After gunpwder was invented, it gradually replaced the bamb jint cracker.
In fact, Neil Alden Armstrng, the American astrnaut wh first set ft n the mn in 1969, was asked many times whether r nt he had seen the Great Wall frm the mn.
the American astrnaut 为Neil Alden Armstrng的同位语,wh引导定语从句,修饰先行词astrnaut;whether引导宾语从句。
Which amng the many cuntries, cities, and museums that wn parts f a wrk f art shuld be the hme f the returned wrk?
主句为由特殊疑问词Which引导的特殊疑问句;amng the art为介词短语作状语,其中that引导定语从句,修饰先行词the many cuntries, cities, and museums。
