描述性形容词的用法: 描述性形容词常常用来说明人或事物的特征或特点, 通常在句中作定语、表语、宾语补足语等。
1. 可放在它所修饰的名词之前。
如:smart elephants 聪明的大象 scary tigers 凶猛的老虎
stupid dgs愚蠢的狗 ugly lins丑陋的狮子
2. 位于系动词(be, lk, sund, taste等)之后,构成系表结构。

3. 修饰不定代词时要后置。

friendly是由名词friend(朋友)加后缀-ly变化而来。
常用搭配有:be friendly t sb.对某人友好;

Tm is friendly with Sam. 汤姆与萨姆要好。
【注意】friendly虽然以-ly结尾,但它是形容词,而不是副词。
类似的形容词还有: lve+-ly→lvely 可爱的
week+-ly→weekly 每周的
