Step One Warming up
Sing a song“If you’re happy…”
Step Two Presentation and Revision
1. Present the words about feeling.
Play a game: Ask the students to read some sentences using a happy, sad, bored, angry or tired voice. The other students guess the moods.
2. Ask a little teacher to check up the words: happy sad angry bored hungry thirsty
Step Three: Lead in.
Today we are going to see our friend, Zara. What did she do yesterday? What's the matter with her? Let's listen to the tape and choose the best answer.

Step Five: Read the text after the tape and read it in pairs.

Step Seven: Read the passage and answer the following questions:
It’s Sunday morning, Amy is in her bedroom. She has nothing to do, she looks bored. She is very sad, because her little dog is lost. She wants to go out and look for her little dog. She is walking and walking , she feels tired , so she sits beside(在…旁边) the road to have a rest . Suddenly a ball falls into her face, she’s very angry. What’s the matter? She looks around. Just now she sees a dog running to her. It’s her little dog! She is very excited now. Today is a happy day, Amy finds her little dog.
