Well, the first month of a year is January (Point to the calendar of 一月. Read after me, please! J-A-N-U-A-R-Y, January.Ss: J-A-N-U-A-R-Y, January.T: And Jan. is short for January. Well, the second month of a year is......(Teach the other months in the same way and ask students to remember all the names of the twelve months and know how to spell them.)T: Now, Ill play the recording to let all of you listen to the accurate pronunciation of the twelve months, then repeat them one by one.2. Present the ordinal numbers.T: One, two, three...are cardinal numbers. It means 基数词. Now, we are going to learn ordinal numbers. It means序数词.Look at the blackboard and Ill show you some numbers. Step3  Listening1. T: There are three short conversations on page43,1b. Ill play the recording, all of you should listen carefully and number the conversations.Ss: Listen to the recording, then number the conversations. After that, check their answer.2.
