    《Unit 5 What were you doing when the rainstorm came》(第1课时)一、【教材分析】   知识目标能力目标通过听说训练,学会运用过去进行时态,谈论过去的事情或讲述过去的故事。情感目标 通过本课的学习,培养学生在困难面前互帮互助的优良品质。教学重点正确使用过去进行时态,谈论过去的事情或讲述过去的故事。教学难点正确使用过去进行时态,谈论过去的事情或讲述过去的故事。教学方法情景教学法;任务型教学法。二、【教学流程】环节师生活动二次备课I. Preparation 准备1.检查单词预习情况:教师结合学生读的状况,适当领读,并帮助学生正音。教师根据构词法知识,帮助学生识记单词。rainstorm, alarm, go off, begin (began), heavily, suddenly, pick up (the phone), strange2.复习检查通过检查学案新知预习内容,检查预习效果。 II.Presentation呈现1. Learning tasks 示标定向1)学习并掌握下列单词:rainstorm, alarm, go off, begin (began), heavily, suddenly, pick up (the phone), strange2)能正确使用以下常用表达:be busy doing, so that, wake up, go off, pick up, wait for, look for, at the time of 3)能熟练掌握并使用下列重点句式:1What was the girl doing at the time of the rainstorm?   She was 2What were you doing last night?  I was ...3) While you were sleeping, I called Jenny and she helped me.4) When you called, I was taking a shower.2. Leading-in导入新课1)复习现在进行时:(1) Show the four pictures in Page 33 with PPT and let the Ss guess what the people are doing. T: What is he doing?Ss: Hes doing the homework in the house reading in the librarywaiting for the bus at the bus stopwalking home on the street(2) 总结现在进行时的构成:is/ am/ are + doing(3) 总结现在分词的构成: 一般:waiting, studying, playing emoving, having 双写:running, shopping2) Ask the Ss Its 8:15. What are you doing now? and guide them to answer We are having an English class. Then ask the Ss What were you doing at this time yesterday? Let the Ss look at the class table and try to answer: We were having a class.(1) 过去进行时的构成:was/ were doing(2) 过去进行时表示在过去某一时刻或某一段时间正在进行的动作。3) Make a comparison between the two tenses.时态现在进行时过去进行时用法表示现在正在进行的动作表示过去某个时刻正在进行的动作结构is/am/are + doingwas/were + doing例句I am having an English classI was having an English class. III.Practice操练 1. 有意义操练 (Meaningful Drills)过去进行时的用法:Show 2 pictures and let the Ss guess what the people were doing at 8:00 last night. T: What was he doing at 8:00 last night?Ss: He was doing the homework in the house.T: What were they doing at 8:00 last night?Ss: They were eating outside.2. 交际性操练 (Communicative Drills) Make conversations in pairs. (sleeping)2) Role-play the conversation.3) Talk aboutwhat you were doing at 7:00/ 8:00/ 9:00 last night in pairs.  A:What were you doing at 7:00 last night? B: I was A:What were you doing at 8:00 last night? B: I was A:What were you doing at 9:00 last night? B: I was  V.Examination检测1. 引导学生小结梳理知识框架、规律、方法,并对合作小组当堂学习情况进行总结评价,巩固学生所获得的语言知识和经验,让学生在评价中反思,在反思中进步。Ask one of the students to say what they have learnt.1)words & phrases  2)过去进行时的构成和用法。2. 当堂检测(见学案):教师要随堂进行评价,批改可以由学习小组内互批、组间互批、集体订正等方法,批阅后教师要统计达标情况,收集反馈信息,当堂矫正补救。  VI. Assignment作业1. 口头作业:利用早读,朗读或背诵录音材料,体会过去进行时的含义和用法。2. 书面作业:1)记忆所学单词、短语或重点句型。2Finish off the exercises in tongbuxuexi.3.
