第二课时　Section A(2a－2d)

根据句意及音标提示写出单词及其汉语意思。

环节1　新课导入

T：Where did you go on vacation?

Ss：...

T：Today we are going to learn how to talk about past events.

设计意图：从询问全班学生的度假情况入手，让学生初步理解对过去事情的谈论以及其基本结构，激发学生的学习兴趣。

环节2　学习 2a－2d

1．让学生翻到第2页，听一遍录音，完成2a的练习。

2．让学生先浏览2b表格中的内容，然后再次播放录音，完成2b的练习。

3．让学生朗读2c的对话，然后两两一组，借助2a和2b的信息，分角色表演Grace、Kevin及Julie之间的对话。

4．让学生朗读2d的对话，掌握其大意，标出其中的生词、重点短语和难句，老师予以讲解。

5．让学生结对练习，分角色表演2d的对话，并挑选两三组学生当堂展示。

6．要点点拨。

(1)Long time no see.

这是一个英文交际的常用语，意为“好久不见”。一般用于和相对来说比较好的朋友再次相遇时的场景。

(2)What about you?

What about...？意为“……呢？”，可与How about...？进行同义句转换。它既可用于询问对方关于前面已经提到过的事情，又可用于征求对方的意见或向对方提出建议。用于提出建议时，其肯定回答多用OK./Good idea./Sure./That's great./That sounds like a good idea.等。

7．学以致用。(按要求完成句子)

(1)What about going to the mountains on Saturday？(写出同义句)

(2)I went somewhere interesting last month.(改为否定句)

I didn't_go_anywhere interesting last month.

(3)There are quite a few students in this school.(写出同义句)

设计意图：通过2c和2d的任务让学生运用目标语言进行语言实践，鼓励学生大胆开口，巩固所学词汇与句型。
