Introduce National Day and Independence Day by

showing some pictures and videos.

设计意图：通过师生之间的问答以及图片、视频展示，导入新话题，吸引学生的注意力。

环节2　学习活动1－3

1．让学生仔细观察教材第10页的图片，并完成活动1中的任务。

2．引导学生浏览活动2里的题干和问题，预测即将听到的录音内容。

3．让学生听活动2的录音，并完成活动2里的1至3小题。然后，邀请几位学生分享自己的答案，老师再肯定正确的答案，纠正错误的答案。

4．要求学生浏览活动3对话后的表格，让学生了解即将播放的录音中涉及哪些中、美节日的相关信息。

5．让学生边听活动3的录音边跟读，听的同时注意在表格所需的信息下画线。听完录音后，让学生完成表格，老师核验答案。

6．邀请几位同学分角色朗读活动3的对话。

7．要点点拨。

(1)People have celebrated the National Day since then.

since then表示“从那以后”。是现在完成时的标志。例：He has lived in Beijing since then.从那以后他就一直住在北京。

(2)My parents and I are going to visit some friends in Shandong Province and we'll stay there until the end of the holiday.

until既可作介词，也可作连词。它在肯定句中与延续性动词连用，意为“直到……时”；在否定句中与瞬间动词连用，意为“直到……才”。
