(1)时刻表达法
1)时在前，分在后，直接用基数词来表达．例如：tw thirty 2:30; five five 5:05
2)分在前，时在后，分和时之间要加一个介词t或past. 当分钟在30（含30）之前时，用past;当分钟在30之后时用t, t表示＂差＂。例如：
2:20 twenty past tw 4:30 thirty past fur
6:35 twenty-five t seven(差25分不到７点)8:50 ten t nine (差10分不到９点)
3)当分钟是15，45时用quarter来表示． 例如：
9:15 a quarter past nine 11:45 a quarter t twelve (差一刻不到12点)
当分钟是30时，常用half 来表示．例如：6:30 half past six 10:30 half past ten
except表示“除……之外”，动作的执行者不包括除去的人。
例如： All f us like the cmputer game, except Jim.
