Step One: warming up
Review the basic sentences in the last lessn. Can I have…..?
After practicing the sentence, we can lead int the new lessn. The teacher kncks at the dr and at the same time asks that can I cme in? Thugh the repeating f the sentence, the students culd imitate the prnunciatin f the sentence. On the basis f prnunciatin the teacher can try t let students t understand the meaning f the sentence.
Step Tw:
In the warming up part, we have shwn the basic imprtant pints. Then we can create a situatin t learn the new passage.
Step Three:
The teacher asks students t listen t the tape and then the students are required t read the text. At last, the students can be required t read in grups in rles.

In the secnd part, there are sme exercise t practice the imprtant sentence pattern, can I …..?
In this part, the expressins have been given. The students culd answer accrding t the expressins. It aruses the interests f students. Later, a sng is given. We can asks students t enjy the sng t release themselves.

The students are required t write sme sentences with using the wrd “can”.

The students are frmed int three grups. One student cmes up with requirements t ther grups accrding t the pictures. Then the students in the ther grup shuld answer. The answer must be: yes, yu can. Until the student cmes up with the requirements that are nt qualified with the situatin. The grup wh insists n is the winner.
