Chain activity: What’s yur favrite subject?
In rws, the children ask and answer what’s yur favrite subject? Find ut what the mst ppular subject in yur class is. Shw disappintment if it isn’t English!

Step 3 Presentatin
1.Put sme wrd cards n the blackbard and learn them.
2.Explain t the students that many verbs in English are regular. That means they fllw a pattern r rules. T frm the third persn singular f regular verbs, we add ‘-s’ t the infinitive. We add ‘-es’ t verbs that end in ‘-s’, ‘-sh’, ‘-ch’, ‘-x’ r ‘-’.
3.Mst irregular verbs als frm the third persn singular in the same way. There are sme special verbs such as “be” and “have” and the third persn singular frm f the verbs have t be learned, i.e. “is” and ‘has’.
4.T make the verbs in the third persn singular negative, we use the auxiliary, r helping verb “des” plus ‘nt’ and the infinitive, e.g. desn’t play, desn’t swim. The auxiliary ‘d’ is als used in ‘wh’ questins, e.g. ‘What des he d?’ ‘D’ is used t frm clsed r ‘yes /n’ questins.
Step 4 Practice
1.This activity reinfrces and practices the crrect prnunciatin f the new vcabulary.
2.Play the cassette r say each wrd.The children pint t the crrespnding picture.
3.Pint t the pictures randmly. Say the wrds. The class repeats.
4.Ask individuals t say the wrds. Crrect any prnunciatin mistakes.
5.In pairs, the children take turns t pint t the pictures and say the wrds.
Step 5 Cnslidatin
Let the students read the vcabulary again and again.
