Lead students t practice the sentences “There is a plant./There are sme plants.” ne by ne with sme different pictures. (出示课件) At last the teacher asks: Des Zhang Peng like plants? Guess! After students guess, the teacher says: Yes. Zhang Peng likes plants. Lk, there is a plant near the windw in his rm. And many plants can make the air clean fr us.
(5)Learn the new phrase “water bttle”.
T: Zhang Peng rides a bike t schl every day. He’s ften thirsty. S he always takes a water bttle in his bag.
Teach the wrd “bttle”. Give the wrds “little, apple” t help students read and remember the wrd. Lead students t practice it in a high and lw vice. Write dwn the phrase “water bttle” n the blackbard. Ask students t fill in the blanks: b_tt_e, bt_le, b_ _le.
Shw sme pictures and lead students t practice the phrase “water bttle, milk bttle” and the sentence “There is a water bttle in his bag.” (出示课件)
2. Read and act.
The teacher plays the recrding. (出示课件) Students read after it ne by ne. After practicing in different ways, students try t say sentences in class like these: This is my rm. There is a clck, a… Ask students t pay attentin t the psitin f the wrd “and”.

1. Say in different vices.

The teacher says a wrd. Students chse the crrespnding picture frm the three pictures that appear at randm n the PPT. (出示课件)

Divide the new wrds and phrase int five grups. There are three wrds in every grup. Shw the grups f wrds n the PPT. Let students say what’s missing quickly. (出示课件)

2. Listen, draw and say.
Tell students what’s in the rm and students draw the crrespnding rm. Then sme students intrduce the rm with the sentence patterns “There is a…in the rm. There is a…and a…in the rm.” The thers check the answers with the teacher.
3. Write and say.
Shw a picture f a rm and a passage with sme blanks n the PPT. (出示课件) Ask students t finish the passage accrding t the infrmatin. Then let several students stand up and read their passages. The fllwing passage can be used:
This is my rm. There is a ________ in my rm. There is a ________. There is a ________ and a ________, t. I like my rm very much. It’s clean and nice.
