Teaching purpse
首先通过歌曲,激发学生学习的兴趣。再借助单词卡片,帮助学生复习学过的家庭称呼类和职业类的词汇。讨论学生家人的职业,以帮助他们复习本单元的重点句型,并为下一环节的学习做准备。

Step 1: Warm-up & Lead-in
1. Enjy a sng—My family.
Play the sng twice. (课件出示:教材P64 Let’s sing板块的歌曲视频) Ask students t listen t it and then sing after it. At last, let students sing the sng tgether.
2. Revisin.
Take ut the wrd cards they have learnt in this unit.
Shw students the wrd cards ne by ne. Let students say them as quickly as they can. Then ask students t talk abut their family members and the jbs f their family members with the wrd cards.

T: Lk at this wman. Can yu say smething? (Pint t the wman n the right in the picture.)
Lead students t describe her with the sentence “She’s friendly.” and guess her jb with the sentence structure “She’s a/an…”
(2) Pint t the taller man in the picture.
T: Lk at this man. Can yu say smething?
Lead students t describe him with the sentence “He’s strng.” and guess his jb with the sentence structure “He’s a/an…”
(3) Draw a basketball n the blackbard. Shw a picture f a basketball player. (课件出示:一名篮球运动员的图片)
Lead students t say “basketball player” accrding t the “ftball player”.
Write dwn the phrase “basketball player” n the blackbard, and get students t read after the teacher.
(4)Pint t anther man in the picture.
Ask students t describe his appearance and guess his jb with the pictures f a ck’s hat and a spatula n the PPT. (出示课件)

首先让学生粗读文段,预测短文大意,并找出短文的关键词汇;然后观察问题里的图片,感知图片内容,找出问题的关键信息,培养学生自主阅读获取信息和处理信息的能力。最后模仿录音并跟读,引导学生按照正确的语音、语调朗读短文。

(2) Lk at the family pht in the bk. Lead students t find the key vcabulary “mther, teacher, father, basketball player, uncle, ck, aunt, nurse” in the passage.
(3) Ask students t bserve the pictures in the questins carefully in the bk. Lead students t find the key infrmatin f the questins. Then let students read the passage and finish the task f “Read and tick r crss”.

(4) Ask the questin “What’s his/her jb?” abut the characters in the pictures.
Ask students t find ut and state the character’s jbs accrding t the passage.
(5) Be “A reading star”.
Play the recrding f the passage. (课件出示:教材P63 Read and tick r crss部分的音频) Ask students t read after it and imitate with the crrect prnunciatin and intnatin.
Let students read tgether, then read the passage freely in grups.
Select ne student frm each grup fr the reading cntest. The best reader will be named as “A reading star”.

Write dwn the sentence structures “—What’s his jb? —He’s a/an…” n the blackbard.
Remind students t use capital letters at the beginning f sentences. And ask students t fill in the blanks in the bk as required.
(2) Shw the picture f the nurse in “Lk and write”. (出示课件)
T: This is a wman. S we say “She is a/an…”
Ss: She is a nurse.
Then shw the picture f the farmer in “Lk and write”. (出示课件)
T: What’s this wman’s jb?
Ss: She’s a farmer.
Ask students t fill in the blanks in the bk.
(3) Ask students t draw a stick figure f a family member and finish the imitative writing activity in the bk independently.

在完成听力练习之前,先引导学生观察图片获取信息,养成在做听力题目之前先获取信息的习惯。

Teach the wrd “baseball” and the phrase “baseball player”.
Present a picture f a taxi driver n the PPT and teach the phrase “taxi driver”. (课件出示:一位出租车司机的图片)
Get students t read the phrases after the teacher and d actins.
(2) Play the cartn. (课件出示:教材P65 Stry time板块的动画) (Help students understand the main idea f the stry.) Intrduce the backgrund f the stry first.

Play the cartn again and ask the questins.
