Step 2: Learn the new wrds.
1. Teacher shw a picture abut the great wall.(图片上有长城,建筑物和一些花草树木) and ask: what’s this?
Ss: It’s the great wall.
T: ( pint t the building) what’s this?
Ss: it’s a building.
T: yes, building, building, this is a building.
让学生操练building 这个单词。
其他单词同样用图片呈现的方法教授玩。
2. Play the game: Pass the cards. (让学生传递单词卡片,全体学生一起说这个单词10次或是5次,传到那个同学那里,那个同学就起来用这个单词造个句子)
Step 3: Learn the new sentences.
3.导入新句型的学习:
The teacher shw a picture: The Great Wall. Say: d yu knw what is it?
Ss: It’s the great wall.
T: D yu knw hw lng is it?
S1. it’s…..
S2:it’s……
S3: it’s ten thusand li lng.
T: yes yu can say it’s five thusand kilmeters.
T: s d yu knw hw ld is it?
S1: it’s …..
S2: it’s…..
S3:it’s tw thusand years ld.
T: Yes, it’s mre than tw thusand years ld. S the Great Wall is the lngest wall in the wrld. We shuld be prud f China.( 在这一环节中抓住这一契机对学生进行德育渗透,让学生爱自己的祖国,通过长城的学习让学生知道中国几千年的文明历史。)
Then the teacher shw anther pictures and ask the questins:( 如:学校、街道、尺子、大笨钟。。。。。图片的背面是它的长度和年龄的数字) Hw lng is it? Hw ld is it?
T: S yu can guess the answers. If yur answer is right ,s yu can get a gift .
S1: it’s … it’s ……years ld.

T: h, yur answer is right. ( 老师把图片翻过来对一对学生给出的答案是否接近正确答案。并给最接近答案的孩子奖励。)
4. 句型操练:
T:k, nw yu can pick a thing, and ask yur partner using this new sentences. Fr example: ………(老师和一个基础比较好的学生进行对话示范)
Nw, please pair wrk, after 2 minutes, have sme students say the dialgue.
Step4: Learn the new wrds。
1. Listen and find ut the questin sentences.

2. Listen and answer the questins. ( 为了提高孩子的理解能力,老师还可以提出更多的问题让学生回答,如:what are they talking abut? Hw ld is the mn? ………)
3. Listen and repeat tgether.
4. Listen and repeat again. Have sme students say ut the sentences ne by ne.
5. Read the dialge . ( Grup A is Simn, Grup B is Daming.)
6. Pair wrk.
7. shw the results, and give the best grup a gift.
Step 5. Practice.
1. Teacher shw the pictures: desk, classrm, street, the Summer Palace, yur schl, yur city, the mn. Then have the student make a dialgue.
2. The students can chse a picture t make a dialgue.

4. If pssible, the teacher shw anther pictures have the students make sme new dialgues.
Step 6 :Activity bk.
1. Ok, turn t page 2 and finish the pare 1 and part 3.
2. Check the answer.
Step 7: Hmewrk
1.完成课堂活动用书第三题。
2.背诵新单词和新课文。
3.在一张纸上画一副自己喜欢的建筑物,在背面写上他的长度或高度,年龄。
方法策略
复习数字和长度单位可以让学生很快进入学习状态,同时为下面的学习打下铺垫,同时让学生对生活中的长度单位有一个初步的认识。
单词的呈现方式简单有助于节约实践,游戏活动的设计提高学生学习的热情,同时让站起来的学生造句有助于帮助学生对新知识的进一步掌握。
贴近生活的导入可以让学生感觉英语学习的真实。
这一环节让学生自己去找问题,可以改变以前那样总是由老师提问学生回答的模式,可以让学生自己提出问题,自己解决问题。这样可以提高学生自学的能力。
拓展练习时也可以让学生不说图片,说自己看到的生活中存在的一切事物,以活跃学生的思维,而不是局限在老师设计的圈套里。
