【学习目标】

1. 能听、说、读、写下列新词汇：

born, ability, create, brain, active, attention, connect, overnight, review, knowledge, wisely

2. 能正确使用以下常用表达：

be born with, whether or not, depend on, learning habits, in common, pay attention to, connect…with…, even if, draw mind maps, each other, a part of

3. 学会使用以下句型：

1) Everyone is born with the ability to learn.

2) But whether or not you can do it well depend on your learning habits.

3) It’s also easier for you to pay attention to it for a long time.

4) Good learners often connect what need to learn with something interesting.

1. be born with 生而具有…              be born+ to do/be生而为…；生来就是；注定…

be born in/on +时间，出生在时间/地点  be born + in +地点，出生在…家庭

2.  But whether or not you can do this well depends on your learning habits.

这句话中的主语是whether or not you can do this well，是由whether 引导的主语从句。 

【拓展】whether和if都可引导宾语从句，表示“是否”，在口语或间接引语中两者可以互换使用。但下列几种情况只能用weather，不用if：1). 与or not 连用  2). 介词后面只用whether  3). 动词不定式前只用whether   4). 引导主语从句  5). 强调宾语从句置于句首

depend on “取决于…; 依赖；依靠”   The price depends on the quality. 价钱取决于质量。

3. pay attention to  注意 / 关注…，to是介词, 后接名词、代词、动名词作宾语。
