掌握以下重点句子：
①Jenny and Brian are on their way to school.
②Usually we take the school bus.
③We will go past some of my favourite shops.
④It has so many good things to read.
Step 1 Lead－in
Lead in by discussing the following questions：
What does Jenny want to show to Brian？
What does Brian see through the big store window？
What is Jenny’s favourite store？
Show some pictures of buildings along the way to the class.Let the students discuss the questions in groups.Then present their results in front of the class.The styles are different.They can be dialogues or reports.
Step 2 Listening
Listen to the tape and fill in the blanks with the words you hear.
1.Jenny and Brian walk to school because it is________.
2.Before they cross the street，they look________and then right.
3.Jenny wants to come to the bakery this________.
Finish the task in class in oral.
Step 3 Reading
Read the passage and answer the following questions：
How do they usually go to school？
What does Brian want to do in the bakery？
What does Jenny see in the window of the bookstore？
Finish the task in class in oral.
Step 4 Practice
Make sentences with the language points：

S1：Did you meet Danny on your way to school？

S2：The teacher is pointing to the pictures on the wall.

S3：Why are you late for school this time？
Step 5 Activities
Introduce the buildings on your way to school.Work in groups.At the same time，the teacher walks around the classroom to see if they have any questions.
Discuss for a while，then let some students come to the front to show their introductions.
Step 6 Come to “Let’s Do It！”
Read the lesson and finish Exercise 1.Finish off Exercise 2 in class.
Work in pairs and talk about what you do on your way to school.
