Language pints
1. …, and it has sent Peter t wrk in Germany, France and China befre. ……之前公司曾派彼得去德国、法国和中国工作过。
(1) send sb. t d sth. “派遣某人去做某事”
(2) send sb. sth. 或 send sth. t sb. “送给某人某物”
2. They have been t many interesting places. 他们去过很多有趣的地方。
have been t +地点,表示“已经去过某地” 现在已经回来。
have gne t +地点,表示“已经去了某地”现在还没有回来,此时可能在途中或已经到了目的地。
3. This language is different frm English in many ways. 这种语言在很多方面都和英语不同。
be different frm表示“与……不同”。
in many ways表示“在许多方面”。
4. They find it hard t spell and prnunce the wrds. 他们发现拼写和发音都不容易。
find it hard t d sth. “发现做某事是难的”
5. S far they have learnt t speak German, French, Chinese and Arabic. 到目前为止,他们已经学会了德语、法语、汉语和阿拉伯语。
s far “到目前为止”,是现在完成时的标志词。
6. They have friends all ver the wrld, but they als miss their friends in the US. 他们在世界各地都有朋友,但是他们也想念他们在美国的朋友。
miss“思念,想念”,还有“错过” 的意思。
辨析:miss与missing的区别
7. They are cunting dwn the days. 他们正在倒计时。
cunt dwn 倒数,倒计时
