    An Edinburgh inventr has created a fully bidegradable bttle that is made frm paper and a secret cmbinatin f plant materials, and it culd help save the planet's ceans frm plastic pllutin and can als be eaten by sea creatures.
    The Edinburgh-based Durham University chemistry graduate James Lngcrft started a nn-prfit bttled water cmpany tw years ag. He wanted t put all his prfits int a charity that prvided clean drinking water t cuntries in Africa.
    Hwever, after cncerns abut the envirnmental impact f plastic bttles, Mr. Lngcrft decided the Edinburgh and Lndn-based cmpany, Chse Water, shuld g plastic-free. S he came up with a new type f water bttle—a waterprf paper bttle.
    “The utside is made frm recycled paper, but the inside has t be waterprf, and prvides strength s the bttle wuld keep its structure, and keep the water fresh," Mr. Lngcrft said.
    When the bttle is thrwn in the cean the degrading prcess begins within hurs leaving the bttle ttally degraded (分解)within weeks. The steel cap breaks dwn within a year.
    Mr. Lngcrft nw believes these nvel bttles culd revlutinise the industry and says the cst f prducing the bttle is arund 5 pence mre than ne made frm single-use plastic.
