【教学目标】

1．New Vocabulary: listen and do, speak and sing, play and act

We listen and do.

2．Learn to read and write the words and drills.

Learn to read and say the new dialogue.

【教学方法】

利用任务型教学法，培养学生的自主学习的能力。通过分组说的形式，调动学生的积极性，同时培养小组的合作精神。

PPT, some cards and a tape-recorder.

【教学过程】

Step 1 Revision

1．To review the words of Lesson 16 by using the pattern.

2．To review the dialogue of Lesson 16.

Step 2 Knowledge and drills

1．To learn to say the sentences:

What do you do in an English class? We listen and do.

2．To learn to say the dialogue.

Let the students listen to the tape recorder with their books closed. Then listen to the dialogue two times with their books opened. Read after the tape recorder. Try to say the sentences one by one and say the whole dialogue fluently.

【设计意图：整体输入课文，让学生带着问题排列课文能使学生感兴趣愿意做。做排序任务，有助于学生对课文的理解。】

3．To learn to say the new words:

listen   speak

4．To learn to say the phrases:

listen and do

speak and sing

play and act

Step 3 Comprehension

The students practice the dialogue in pairs and recite the new words and phrases in groups. Check pronunciation as the teacher walk around the classroom, listening, modeling and praising pairs.

Ask several students to model the dialogue for the class.

Step 4 Let’s chant

Listen to the tape and then sing together.

3．To learn to say the new words:

Step 5 Let’s do a survey.

Homework：

Try to act out the dialogue in groups.
