    Since the beginning f the epidemic, 75 millin peple have been infected with the HIV virus and abut 32 millin peple have died f HIV. Glbally, 37.9 millin peple were living with HIV at the end f 2018. An estimated 0.8% f adults aged 15 t 49 years wrldwide are living with HIV.

    The WHO African regin remains mst severely affected, with nearly 1 in every 25 adults living with HIV and accunting fr mre than tw-thirds f the peple living with HIV wrldwide.

AIDS is the stage f the disease when the persn’s immune system is weakened t such a degree that the persn develps varius diseases which are eventually fatal.
    At present, the numbers f the infected peple bth in China and in the wrld are n the increase, which calls fr ur attentin and cncern. The HIV virus can get int the bdy thrugh bld r the bdy fluid that carries the virus thrugh brken skins r by injectin. S the scientific ways f preventin include avidance f sharing needles r ther equipment used during drug taking, use f cndms and safe bld transfusins.
    The attitude twards AIDS patients reflects the degree f scial civilizatin. We shuld treat HIV carriers and AIDS patients as nrmal peple s that they will nt be islated r discriminated against. We shuld be caring, understanding and cmpassinate t the AIDS patients t help them feel the warmth f the sciety, get inspired and encuraged t fight against the disease and make their wn cntributins t the sciety in return.
    With the prper preventin and strict cntrl, the number f the infected peple will surely decrease year by year until ne day we will ttally eliminate this disease frm ur wrld. T accmplish this gal, everyne shuld wrk tgether.
