教学目标 :
1.知识能力目标:
(1)会听、说、认读单词:kingfisher, dirty ,nest, hole, riverbank, change.
(2)能够读懂描述The kingfisher的短文并完成相应的练习或活动。
(3)能够自主阅读相关短文,找到雪豹、黑犀牛、狒狒等动物濒危的原因,并介绍它们的相关信息。
2.学习策略目标:
(1)学生能在自主探究和合作学习中掌握本课的知识点,掌握一定的阅读技巧。
(2)学生能够加工和处理语言信息,提高语言表达能力和灵活运用语言的能力。
3.情感目标:
了解濒危动物们的生活和生存现状,激发学生热爱自然和保护动物的情感。
教学重点:
学生能够读懂描述The kingfisher的短文,了解翠鸟的生活习性和生存状态,并知道他们处于濒危的原因。
教学难点:
能够自主阅读相关短文,找到雪豹等动物濒危的原因,并介绍它们的相关信息。
教学准备:ppt、平板电脑、手机
教学过程:
Step 1. Pre-reading
1. Say a chant: My favourite animal
2. Free talk:
What’s your favourite animal?
Step 2. While-reading
1.Watch the video about the kingfishers and answer the questions:
What do you know about the kingfishers after watch the video?
2.Children read the first part of the passage and answer the question:
Are kingfishers small fish? What do the kingfishers eat? Where do they live?
3.Listen to the second part of the passage and think:Why are the kingfishers in danger?
(1)Ask the pupils to listen to the second part of the passage and underline why kingfishers are in danger?
(2)The teacher shows some pictures to help pupils understand why the kingfishers are in danger.
4.Listen and read the passage.
5.Dubbing game.
Step 3. Post-reading
- Look and say:How can we help them?
- Group-work: Choose one of the texts of snow leopards, black rhinos and gorillas to learn in groups. Find out why they are in danger and use mind-map to introduce them.
- Watch a vedio.
Step 4. Homework
1.Read and try to recite the text on page 39.(必做)
2. Choose one animal in danger to learn on your paper. Find out why are they in danger . Draw a mind-map and use the mindmap to introduce it.(必做)
3.Make a poster for kingfishers with your parents.(选做)
