三、学情分析
学生对节日话题比较感兴趣,但对于中西方节日文化的差异可能了解不够深入,需要通过课堂教学加以引导和拓展。学生在英语表达方面存在一定的困难,可能会出现语法错误、词汇运用不当等问题,教师需要在教学过程中及时给予纠正和指导。

任务型教学法、 情景教学法、 多媒体教学法
五、教学过程
(1)Leading in
1. Play a vide abut festival celebratins arund the wrld, such as Christmas, Thanksgiving, Lantern Festival, etc., s that students can watch and feel the happy atmsphere f different festivals.
2. Ask the students: " What festivals can yu see in the vide?” “Which festival d yu like best and why?"Guide students t recall the festivals learned, and share their favrite festivals and reasns.
(2) Knwledge review
1. Shw sme pictures related t the festival, such as Hallween jack--lanterns, red envelpes fr Spring Festival, mn cakes fr Mid-Autumn Festival, etc., and let the students say the crrespnding name f the festival and related English wrds.
2. Review the key sentence patterns f this unit, such as "We celebrate... by...", "Peple... at...", etc. Let the students make sentences with these sentence patterns t describe the ways f celebrating different festivals.
(3) Grup discussin
1. Divide students int grups f 4-6 students.
2. Give each grup a frm abut the cmparisn f Chinese and Western festivals, asking students t discuss and fill in the cntents f the frm, including the festival name, time, celebratin methd, cultural significance and ther aspects.
3. After the grup discussin, ne representative f each grup will send t reprt, and the ther grups can supplement and ask questins.
(4) Reading
1. Give an English essay abut festival culture t students t read and answer questins.
2. The cntent f the shrt passage can invlve the rigin, develpment and evlutin f the festival, and the prblems can include the idea, detailed understanding, reasning and judgment, etc.
3. After reading, let the students first cmmunicate the answers in the grup first, and then the teacher will make cmments and explain.
(5) Writing training
1. Arrange writing tasks: "Write a passage abut yur favrite festival. Yu shuld intrduce the festival, including its name, time, celebratin activities and yur feelings."
2. Prvide students with sme writing templates and reference vcabulary, such as "firstly, secndly, besides, mrever", etc., t help students t rganize the article structure and enrich the language expressin.
3. During the prcess f writing, teachers patrl and give guidance t remind students f grammatical errrs and vcabulary spelling.
(Vi) Display and evaluatin
1. Invite sme students t shw their writing achievements n stage, and ther students listened carefully.
2. After the exhibitin, let the students make self-evaluatin, and then ther students will make each ther evaluatin. Finally, the teacher will make a general evaluatin, pint ut the advantages and disadvantages, and give suggestins fr imprvement.
(7) Summary and hmewrk assignment
1. The teacher summarizes the cntent f this lessn and emphasizes the imprtance f festival culture and the significance f crss-cultural cmmunicatin.
2. Assignment assignment:
Let the students intrduce their favrite festivals t their families at hme, and recrd vides t share them in the class grup.
Let the students cllect mre infrmatin abut the festival and make a hand-cpied newspaper.
