    句子中 “with a piece f string tied t it ”为with复合结构“with + 名词 / 代词 + 现在分词 / 过去分词 / 不定式”。a piece f string 与tie是动宾关系,因此用tied。
    2. A metal key was attached t the string.
    Paraphrase (释义): A metal key was cnnected with the string.
    attach意为 “t fasten r cnnect ne bject t anther”用法为 attach sth t sth,把……固定 / 附在……上,其中t为介词。例如: Attach a recent phtgraph t yur applicatin frm.申请表上请贴一张近照。
    3. Mre than ne generatin f schlchildren has been amazed by his bravery and his scientific apprach t lking fr the truth.
    mre than ne意为“不止一个”,其后的谓语动词通常用单数。apprach 为名词,意为“方法(methd)”,常用apprach t + 名词 / 现在分词表示“……的方法”例如:He has adpted a new apprach t teaching languages. 他采用了新的语言教学方法。
