课时目标:
1.掌握并记忆本课时的重点词汇 currently, regularly, respnsible, memry, nwadays, skin, jgging, slim, natin, aim, issue, theme, bserve, range, event, aplgise, stress, impact, strength的用法,能在真实语境中灵活运用。
2.掌握动词常见的5种时态,学会在具体语境中运用正确的时态。通过复习动词时态,掌握时态的基本用法和时态的构成,并能在具体语境中灵活运用,提高在语法填空、短文改错题型的分析问题、解决问题的能力。
3.通过阅读描写家人外貌特征和向家人道歉的文章,学会宽容、谅解和爱,形成融洽、温馨的家庭氛围,对学生今后的成长大有裨益。
4.探索家人相处的方式,扩大学生的视野、丰富自己的人生经验和阅历。从而激发学生热爱家人、热爱家庭的情愫。

复习动词的5种时态,分清动词所表达的时间概念,弄清时态的意义,注意时态中的时间状语。尤其注意时间概念和在该时间范围内所发生的动作或存在的状态。难点:
能理解和运用该部分出现的重点词汇和短语。
教学准备:
教师准备:
准备好该部分内容的PPT和音频材料;准备活动的时间数轴,将“Past” “Present” “Future”制成卡片,以备讲解时态时让学生自己区分所表达的时间概念。将该部分的词汇融会贯通,做出图片、关联记忆等,帮助学生有效记忆并灵活运用。
学生准备:
1.课前查找动词的5种时态的基本用法,分别举例。
2.概括时态的构成,做成表格,对比归类。
3预习课本P30和P31的内容,找出新词汇,并猜测或查找其含义。
教学过程:
Step I Review: tenses
1.Ask students t read the sentences n Page 29 and tell the time perids they stand fr.
2.Give enugh examples t explain five tenses.
Guide students t analyse five tenses and their frms. Then ask students t give examples prepared in advance f class.
3.Use the picture f Activity 1 t sum up five tenses accrding t “Past, Present, Future”.
First ask students t d Activity 1 individually and then check the answers.
4.D Activity 2 & Activity 3 n Page 29.
Ask students t share their answers with their partners and ask sme grups t give a reprt t the class.
Chse the best grup t praise in class.
Step II Physical appearances
1.Read the email n Page 30 t answer the fllwing questins.
(1) What did Penny’s dad lk like ten years ag?
(2) What des Penny’s mum lk like nw and why?
(3) Hw des Penny lk different nw cmpared t ten years ag?
Ask students t answer the questins and check answers tgether.
2.Read the email again and fill in the table n Page 30.
3.Wrk in pairs and describe hw yur family members’ physical appearances have changed. Fr example:
My mther was/had… Nw she is/has gt…
Then fill in the table.
4.Write a brief intrductin f yur family members accrding t the table abve.
Step III Saying srry t family members
1.Ask students t read the shrt intrductin f “Did yu knw?” and learn abut the Internatinal Day f Families.
2.Ask students t listen t the cnversatin and chse the feelings that the speakers express.
3.Ask students t listen again and cmplete Alice’s Jurnal entry Then talk abut hw Alice’s mther makes an aplgy. Listen again if necessary.
4.Wrk in pairs and make dialgues abut aplgising t a family member. Then act ut the cnversatin.
5.Wrk in pairs. Think abut anther situatin in which yu need t make an aplgy and have a similar cnversatin.
【设计意图】听力练习设置了相应的练习题,由浅入深,符合学生认知规律。让学生带着问题去听,有针对性有侧重点。Activity7是捕捉关键信息并作出选择,Activity8是填写文章中所空出来的词汇,基于口头英语表达的练习,也有词汇听写练习,不仅要判断出所听词汇,还要判断词汇在具体句子中应该采用的形式。
听后再组织对话练习,使听、说、读、写四种基本能力都调动起来,提高综合运用英语的能力。

总结时态的基本结构和用法,并能根据给出的例子判断所运用的时态;在恰当的语境下,运用正确时态。
